Your father may or may not have told you a few things but I decided to write down for you all what I think a man should learn. what are some of yours?
– Buy high quality tools so you only have to buy them once
– Keep a change of clothes at the office
– Never hit anyone unless their are an immediate threat or are already attacking you
– Fight to win not to look good, there are no rules in war.
– Every hat should serve a purpose
– Never take her to the movies on the first date and never pay more than the cost of a cup of coffee wherever you do take her otherwise she will expect more next time.
– Learn to wet shave
– Nothing looks more badass than a well tailored suit, get one!
– Always look a person in the eye when you greet them or talk to them
– Exercise your body and your mind daily, it’s your 2 most important tools
– Always save a small amount of your paycheck into something that pays you money on top of your money
– Never wear a clip on tie
– Always stand and give a firm handshake when meeting someone, a limp hands tells people instantly you are weak and can not be trusted.
– Never leave a pint un finished
– If you are not confident, fake it, It will come around
– The only reason to ever point a gun at someone is if you intend to shoot them
– Never lend anything you can’t afford to lose, never lend money to anyone
– Ask more than you answer
– Never have sex with someone on the first date, case them out to see if they can handle it mentally
– Think before you act, think long and hard
– When you walk look straight ahead and not at the ground
– Nice guys don’t finish last, boring ones do
– Do not let the little head do the thinking the big head should be doing
– The first one to get angry loses
– A man does what is needed to get the job done without complaining, complaining is for the women
– Never change yourself to make someone else happy
– Luck favours the prepared
– Never stop learningKnowledge is power..... Don't waste your brain on bullshit
Don’t waste your time with,’if only’,or should have, would have, could have been, just say next time instead.
Learn to cook, clean and sew for yourself – there are better things to have a women do for you than that.
Choose your friends – don’t let them choose you.
Say what you mean and mean what you say.
Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!

Anonymous6You will never be truly loved by a female, so learn to love that guy in the mirror instead.
All good rules you have listed. I’ll add a few from my Dad that I believe are original to him.
– All judgement below evil is petty.
– Never argue religion, for some people it is their last hope, and you will never have the right to take away someones hope.
Buy high quality tools so you only have to buy them once
This goes for a lot things – furniture comes to mind.
My favorite quote is “Never cut what you can untie.” ~Joseph Joubert (1754-1824)
If you rescue a damsel in distress, all you will get is a distressed damsel.
Just do it.
You will forget any advice you are given if you don’t practice it.
There is no magic in MGTOW, just recognition of the truth and logical decision how to avoid dangers. The red pill is but the truth, it is no magical potion. Do not think in this modern world men have no longer have natural enemies, men are prey to women and government.

Your 20's are for learning, your 30's are for earning.
Let go of s~~~, even if you never get resolution, so you can move forward, and keep on truckin’.
Don’t hate someone because of it, it just gives them power in your head.
Be the best you can be each day, not what your best was 10 years younger, or what someone else thinks you should be.
Don’t look to others to define who you are.
You know yourself better than anyone ever will, learn to listen to yourself.
Don’t travel down mental/emotional roads that are dead ends to your plans & goals.
Hold fast to your freedom like a motherf~~~er…or at least what we still have of it.
When you fall or get knocked down, get back up & keep trying…
Rule your emotions, don’t let them rule/ruin you.
Great thread, thank you for sharing it.
My own father teachings, to add some extras:
– Do something well done. It is a waste of time and money to do it half-assed and have to do it again.
– Never promise ANYTHING, but if you promise, the only excuse to NOT do it is if you are dead or dying.
– A man’s word is his own soul. Lost honor can never be regained.
– The “devil” lies in small things. Always be careful where you are treading, because it can bite you back.
– Never let to tomorrow what can be done today. If you cannot do it right now, never loose your sleep on something you must do tomorrow.
– Open your eyes and ears, and shut your mouth. You gain more by listening and seeing than talking."Young was I once, I walked alone, and bewildered seemed in the way; then I found me another and rich I thought me, for man is the joy of man." Odin, Hàvamàl, stanza 47.
