We’re not the only ones that noticed the double standard. A quick google for “feminists kermit new girlfriend” and at least half the results mention something about her being abusive.

However, and that said, I do not tie my destiny up with a cloth puppet which is “doing” and “saying” things its politically correct puppeteers have it doing and saying. Deep down, I suspect and wait for a crass marketing ploy by whatever network is hosting Kermit & friends these days.
