A little self back-patting to follow, if not your cup-o-tea, bail now.

A few days ago the retread boss asked me to look into something that, for years people have been telling him, it is impossible to fix. Just the way it is. You just gotta learn to live with it……

Welp, yours truly came up with a work around. The work around is not as elegant as a light-saber, more like a blaster. But….. It does work.

The bossman was both pleased and f~~~ing p~~~ed.
Pleased that a solution was found but p~~~ed that he had to live with this issue for years b/c of lazy employees.

Your millage may vary but don’t lie to the man that pays you. Ever!

If something is beyond your skill level, own up to it. Admit it. Chances are you will not be fired. Lie about it and one day you will be toast.

I may have a rare breed of boss but he would rather supply training and get the truth then be lied to about skill level.

BTW, the boss is not why I left the first time. It was two nasty c~~~s.

Well done, Grue. It feels good, doesn’t it?

"I've been thinking about what it would be like if we got back together."
"You know it's too late for that."

years back i had a boss who told me
“if you lie to me i will hang you
if you tell the truth i will back you 100% ”
and he was a man of his word.
the guy stood between insanity and his men.
    he always won.
    thank GOD for good men.

We will not work for bread alone; our spirits cry out for recognition of our contribution.

How many times have you worked longer than you had to, to do the job right?

Pride and ingenuity can’t be bought- they can only be rewarded.

my experience everybody claims the idea as their own so be careful the usual s~~~ that goes down doers and talkers if you think for yourself you would be rare, things don’t change for a reason most people aren’t confident let alone creative
