Morning guys
I’m having a read of the newspaper in the thirty minutes before I start work. I don’t know how many of you have heard, but down here in NZ, our prime minister has just resigned from office. A satisfactory explanation has not been given yet, but apparently his health is waning and he wants to spend more time with his family. Bit of a shame, as I always felt that he was one of our better PMs. I voted for him twice.
Sadly, a female journalist in the Herald that i’m reading has waited all but a DAY to start bashing him. Her bitching extends to complaints about the economy and our national waterways, but she cannot resist going into a full-scale moan about the “male culture” of this country, for which she believes that our leader is responsible. I read with astonishment as she whined, “His legacy has contributed to the male culture in New Zealand that sees women as little more than pom-pom girls cheering from the sidelines”.
Is this the same male culture that, in this country, allowed the woman who sexually molested her one-year-old son to walk free, legalised prostitution so that a whore can file a police report if she’s been ripped off, continually refuses to give jail sentences to pregnant women, shows the usual favouritism when it comes to the workplace, schools, and abusive relationships, has had two female PMs in the past, and runs a health care system that offers free scans for breast and cervical cancers while prostate and testicular ones are not?
She finishes by saying, “Call me passé, but the title of Prime Minister should mean something.”
Call me passé, but the title of VOTER should mean something. If our electorate is this behind in terms of awareness, then perhaps i’m a step closer to seeing why John Key has abandoned ship – no help for his people.
Time to punch that clock…

. . . his health is waning and he wants to spend more time with his family.
This is the gag our pols run on us, here in the USA.
