Yeah…that is the sad part. Things have shifted so far in favor of women that it is easy for a guy to just be like *shrug* and walk away from relations~~~s. The way I see it I spent my 20s busting my ass and being a “good guy.” I did everything that was expected of the traditional male gender role. Now I’m in my early 30s and doing pretty damn well for myself, and now all the women my age are going nuts looking for a husband. They weren’t interested 10 years ago when I was…they were all out running up the c~~~ count and having fun. Now they’re past their prime, used up, pretty much all come with a mountain of debt, and a fair amount have the worst STD around…some other guys kid(s). Whats in it for me? I get to deal with damaged goods all the while knowing there is a >50% chance of divorce no matter what I do, and when the divorce inevitably hits its going to cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars. F~~~ that. Every time I meet some desperate 30 something yeah old its just like leave me alone lady…your s~~~ty life isn’t my fault and its not my problem, and my awesome life is better off without you bringing me down.

My thoughts exactly. Almost verbatim. Being MGTOW is like looking in the mirror of truth and having it reflect both all that is wrong with society, yet all that is right within oneself…

Funny you should say. In regards to that, I actually make it a point to follow some good guidance that works well for me. I believe it was Robert Downey Jr. that once said something to the effect of “Listen, smile, agree and then do whatever the f~~~ you were gonna do anyway.” In this instance, doing ‘whatever you were going to do’ is being MGTOW.
Now, I try to be both polite and firm when speaking with people. Especially Women, I do my best to extend the courtesy that I would to every human being. However…
Much of the older ones, despite the fact that you come across as being MGTOW, unavailable or what have you, take your rejection as something that is viewed as suggested, and not implied. Maybe they feel as though you are a ‘playing hard to get’, or they feel as though they can ‘stick around’ and wait for you to ‘come around’ as though you will ‘eventually see’ what they have to offer. As you mentioned above, there is nothing left to offer but ‘leftovers’..

Tell you what though, I’ve been/am single, and I’ve been married. And if I’ve learned nothing else here it is that insanity, by definition, is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. Especially when AWALT.

Towards the bottom I picked up on one thing that intrigued..since you’ve done both, is it wrong to assume that relations~~~s/marriage are what causeses Insanity, it seems like after the honeymoon face no matter what everything that encompasses marriage becomes repetative, therefore basically “Insanity” not just for just the men but for the woman in the relationship as well. I guess simplified

Admire the Japanese for not taking s~~~ from society. Nothing appeals to me, Spending 75-90% of my lifespan going to school and work. A single intelligent hardworking man can be self sustaining by his lat 20’s to mid 30’s and essentially live 60% of his life if not more without requiring a regular day job.

Start adding dating, marriage, divorce, child support, raising kids, family vacations and suddenly that opportunity vanishes.

Now doesn’t that sound great not having to work, unlimited time to travel, game it, f~~~ bitches, and expand on hobbies and you’re intellectual capacity?

The way I look at it is what if the average guy is making 50k a year and saving 10% of his gross…or 5k a year. Now what if you are making 100k a year and banking 50% of your gross….or 50k a year? 1 year of your retirement savings is basically equal to 10 for the average guy. What he saves in 40 years, you save in 4. Yeah you’d have to throw in a few extra years to make up for decades of compounding that hasn’t happened yet, not being able to collect any social security of possible pension income right away, and just to lessen the risk because your money has to provide passive income for much longer…but if you live modestly and hit the saving hard you can get yourself to a good place pretty early in life.

Yup…I always figured when I finished school and got a better job, I’d want to start looking harder for a wife. Unfortunately for them when I finished school and got a better job, I realized what anchors most of them were, and the fact that I’m in my early 30s now means a lot of the women my age who are desperate for marriage/babies are simply past their prime used goods and even if they weren’t financial burdens, I still wouldn’t be interested in what they want. Its just far more appealing to live a quiet single life, crush overtime, bank money, and to get the f~~~ out of the game at some point in my 30s. I’ll get a solid 25-30 years to enjoy a life of leisure before most of my peers can dream of retiring…and I’ll still actually be young enough to enjoy it. F~~~ retiring at 67 when I may very well not be physically capable of doing some of the things I enjoy doing now. If I could be done at 37 living on a beach in a foreign country living like a king with a maid and prostitutes whenever I want for pennies on the dollar of what a girlfriend would cost here…hell yeah…winning!

My curiosity is to how organized the herbivore man is. Obviously, it is a grass roots event and is propelled by the same issues as the MGTOW are, but did it start in forums and chat rooms much like MGTOW.com. Were like minded men were talking among themselves? Is society in Japan so oppressive that it was the only choice for most males? Did woman finally emasculate and effeminate the men to a point where they just fell into acting this way all at once? Herbivore Men could be a harbinger to MGTOW in some small degree. Although, I see MGTOW as men who are retaining their masculinity, whereas the herbivore men seem to be losing theirs. They more closely resemble the’beautiful ones’ in Utopian Mouse Experiment. I don’t know anyone form Japan so I doubt I will get any answers.

InRedPillWeTrust, that is my conclusion, based on my experience. Marriage doesn’t work for me. Relations~~~s, by default, are supposed to be a compromise. Give and take so to speak. The problem however is that in the modern marriage (contract), it is a hell of a lot more give and a lot less take. So I don’t even bother.

Furthermore, I believe it was Camille Paglia that stated “Men have sacrificed and crippled themselves physically and emotionally to feed, house and protect women and children. None of their pain or achievement is registered in feminist rhetoric, which portrays men as oppressive and callous exploiters.” I couldn’t agree more. Women ultimately expect for you to destroy yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually by default as if the only purpose your existence serves is to serve them. All here understand the flaw in that way of thinking.

Definitely man. I was talking to a 60 year old guy who is a chemist the other day…probably making about 100k a year and has been making good money his whole life. He was bitching how he has so little saved for retirement because he got divorced a few years ago and his wife got the 401k in exchange for him keeping his pension, and he had to buy her out of half of the house. In the end what the f~~~ did marriage get him other than a bill for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Its just not worth it anymore.

Yup…I had a stupid mangina rant to me a while back about how he disliked Trump because Trump hates women and he thinks all women should be home making bread like its 1950 again. I just laughed and said “And what happened to all the men back then? That all got drafted and sent over seas to get shot at by Nazis and Japs.” He shut the f~~~ up pretty quick. Too many idiots seem to have just been brainwashed into believing that for generations men have been doing nothing but hanging out at the local watering holes and titty bars all day then coming home and demanding dinner, sex, and a clean house. Maybe in some aspects women didn’t always have it great…but people certainly seem to forget all the s~~~ men have dealt with.

That’s actually a damned good question. If they weren’t organized in making that movement, then could we assume that it was a collective ‘natural’ movement or response? Will it restore order, or cause collapse?

And I for one, didn’t even start to consider the contrast between MGTOW and ‘the beautiful ones’. That’s a hell of a point. Quite terrifying if you ask me. The only thing worse than losing your masculinity is losing your identity and will to thrive amid turmoil.
