but they also know his nagging controlling girl will be right there with him, and only let him buy what she wants him to wear.

Any man who lets a woman dress him deserves to look like a putz. Nor will the woman respect him for it. Or find him attractive. Because women choose clothes for men that make men less attractive to women, including themselves, thereby protecting her walking wallet from other female poachers.

Once you understand that, the incredibly stupid looking “men’s” fashions marketed to women start to make sense.

it is getting worse as time goes on. I forget which car it was but only this week I saw an advert for a new make of car and it had a woman driving it

I suppose it is realistic in that it is women who decide what to buy in married households but cars are still seen as man toys. Another thing that women are muscling into

I’ll be honest, I do have a habit of buying frivolous junk. However, I spend my money, not money somebody else made, and it certainly isn’t about keeping up with the joneses.

Another thing regarding the ‘princess’ thing. Women will also say that if you treat her like a queen, she’ll treat you like a king (or prince)? Really now. Last I checked, the king could command the queen and get sex from her anytime he wanted. As well, he could sleep with whatever servant he wanted while the queen looked the other way. The king also had full control over the kingdom, queen had no say whatsoever. The queen doesn’t get a girls night out. That’s what you want?

    Ok. Then do it.

The marketing departments of stores know that women are basically powerless to resist the latest trends, or resist buying throwback nick-knacks like those stupid Owl’s that you see everywhere now. They know that if a celebrity buys and endorses a product, women will flock to it. That’s why 90% of products are marketed towards women. I don’t shop at Target anymore, but it really is the epicenter of entitled, middle to upper-middle class women who drive their SUV’s/Minivans, spending their husbands money.

Women think that they are empowered now, and they don’t have to act like their mother’s/grandmother’s did in the traditional sense. But they obviously are the ones who still go out to do the majority of the household shopping. If it was the majority of males doing the shopping, 90% of products would be marketed towards males. Women can try to act like men all they want, but I seriously doubt they’ll ever be able to evolve from craving that instant gratification they receive from shopping.

I feel for my brother who has been married a little over a year. His wife teaches school so she has the summers off. She got a part time job this summer, and I thought, that’s great, she’ll keep herself busy so she won’t spend all of the money she made last year. Nope, I was dead wrong. Bro told me that she spent her entire 2 week paycheck in a matter of hours. All the while knowing they have expensive basement repairs in the near future. I let him vent to me about it, because he has always been very frugal. His wife has absolutely no regard or discipline to save money. It’s my hope that he finds MGTOW someday. If he does find his way, it will be after a messy divorce I’m sure. AWALT

Sadly true in so many cases. Women hate both of my reliable older and cheaper/possible to repair vehicles. I’ve also no f~~~s to give.

Yeah Steeb, I’ve often called Target highbrow Whalemart so I know of which you speak. I no longer shop Target. They ran me off as a customer too.
