The architecture of old churches is something we won’t see again .Even the fealing and smell of an old church can’t be matched by the new ones . Notice the numbers going to church declined with the rise of feminism.

Well in my view religion is the greatest form of mind control ever invented. Christianity and Islam have one thing in common; people on their knees. The decline in numbers in my view has nothing to do with feminism. More and more people are waking up to the level of bulls~~~ and corruption in this world. Still, whilst I don’t believe there is a god others are free to believe what they want regardless of how misinformed and mistaken I believe them to be.

I certainly respect your opinion but I must disagree. God is real, and yes its true that organized religions of all kinds often pervert his teaching and lessons. But it is not mind control.
One of the earliest lessons from the Bible is that people have free will. No one is compelled to obey God, anyone can chose not to. OF course there are consequences. One day God will come knocking on your door and you needn’t answer it.

Now a muslim will tell you to accept their version of a God or die, as a Christian I will simply pray for you, and hope.

Yes a major factor in the decline of the Western Church” has been the injection of Feminism and left wing ideology. Basically the Christian church in all its forms teaches individuals have choices in life and are accountable for those choices. While the left espouses a kind of collectivist group think where the individual doesn’t really matter except in relation top the greater “whole”. This is also why leftists reject the notion of individual rights and liberties–because your exercise of these rights might conflict with the “dogma” of the group. It is also why they reject individual responsibility and accountability.

The Church unfortunately over the years has tried to “appease” liberals and lefties by either eliminating or changing basic doctrine to be more in line with what is politically fashionable. As a result truth has been lost and in the end these churches stand for nothing. Who wants to go to a church that stands for nothing but the current vogue?

I no longer attend my own little catholic church. And this why:

a) I will not underwrite (with my $)any organization that is supporting/encouraging policy that will destroy my country—and the church is doing this by embracing left wing nonsense like climate change, wholesale immigrant invasion etc.

b) Our church used to have a banner out front that said: “Marriage is a union between one man and one woman.” The local priest bowed to pressure to remove this banner because it might “offend” someone. When the local priest becomes more concerned with offending people than offending God I have no further use for him. Who is he to preach anything to anyone.

So much for my little rant. Hope you enjoyed the Christmas music nonetheless.

Still going to my Catholic church, but I get what you are saying. Christianity is MEANT to offend. It’s meant to offend people so badly, some want to crucify you for it.

Very few decent new churches (architecturally) being built. Some occasionally pull off an impressive minimalist approach, but most look like a barn. And not a nice Amish barn at that…

I know what you mean, they look like pre-fabs. And there is no Nave anymore, its all church in the round, no more stained glass, no organs and don’t get me started on the liturgy and what has happened to it.
