There are roughly 150 million men and 150 million women in the USA.
We just hired a new C level employee. It was a man.
Misogyny, glass ceiling, etc. You say. I agree with you.
150 million women didn’t get the job.
But 149999999 million men didn’t get the job either.
So is it sexism, or is it qualificationism.
I’ve been with the company for 7 years, oustanding reviews, and the didn’t even interview me. Is it because the patriarchy is holding me back or am I just not qualified? They didn’t interview any male mechanics, farmers, or plumbers either.
We need to join with women and whine until unqualified persons of either gender break the glass ceiling.
The fact of the matter is there are only so many qualified person to take on these high level positions.
Don’t forget the most powerful person in the world, the chief of the federal reserve bank, is a woman. A few words from her and she can crash the world economy. The most powerful person in the world.
The upper middle class white women carp because they aren’t in a corner office having 3 martini lunches.
