I’m just about done with my current job…yeah I know i’ve been bitching about doing the driving thing, but f~~~ it ain’t fun driving a f~~~ing rental van with all seasonal tires. I complained about it to the manager woman, but she just brushed it of and said to be more careful on the road. Yeah on a f~~~ing highway where trucks are going 110-120 in 90 mile zones…they also expect me to do warehouse work much more, when there will be lots of s~~~ in it to do…

And blade, if a slow vehicles p~~~es you of, just pass it dude. I am s~~~ting myself here on the roads with a cargo van+all seasonal tires. F~~~ it I gave myself a word to quit this job by the end of next week. Probably even sooner, and then go get my truck license. At least if I hit someone or they hit me, chances are better for survival. Or maybe not. But at least I will feel like I died doing something better. Rant over.

OHH YEAH!!! This bitch told me this story about some dude that died on the job, saying how much headache it gave them to deal with this. But I didn’t see or hear any compassion in her soul. Not one bit!!!

We have a truck with snow tires that they gave away to fix, and are renting one with all season tires. A little snow makes this junk go all over the road. It’s unstable as f~~~ and at 80 mph I’m really s~~~ting myself.

Besides all of this s~~~, they want me to clean, take out garbage. Even though there’s 2 hoes there that can do that. But that was never in the job description of course. And the s~~~ I’m supposed to lift was no more than 30 lbs…right.

Winter tires, on the other truck that they gave to fix the same rental company that gave us one with all season one. Winter tires are definitely better for Canakestan’s weather.

I run all year around with ‘All Terrain’ small truck tires on my car. I haven’t had any trouble with them yet. IIRC, it’s illegal to run ‘All Season’ tires during winter driving conditions in some places…

If you were to submit a written report (keep a copy and proof of delivery. Don’t just hand it in) to the c~~~ outlining the danger to staff and the legal implications, you might find that gets a favourable response. The prospect of personal responsibility terrifies them.

Alternatively, she might just fire you in order to cover up the mess she’s made of it. That would be a typical c~~~ response.

You might also go over her head to a male manager.

It’s a different story with a sprinter van. The f~~~ing thing is like a big box on wheels turned sideways, thus making it unstable as f~~~. I skid all over the place on this thing. ON a highway I drive 60-70 instead of 90. Cause when I drive 90, it starts sliding and weaving due to wind, snow and it’s s~~~ty size. And that’s what she refuses to listen to…

Yes, I understand your situation. In my post I was talking about ‘All Terrain’ tires. An ‘AT’ tire is like a ‘super snow tire’. They have a much more aggressive tread than just an ordinary winter or snow tire.

As a last resort you could contact the company’s insurance provider about the situation but that will most certainly get you fired…

Maybe he could express a ‘genuine’ concern for his company’s liability. He could tell them that he would hate to see his employer get into any legal trouble. Evidently they must be unaware of the ‘Humboldt Broncos Crash’ and what happened to the company owner that the truck driver worked for…

You can also pull over at a DoT spot check voluntarily.
Funny thing about that (sorry a memory of a former employer popped into mind).
Insurance companies will work quickly to eliminate a liability that can cost them a dollar.
As you are driving a delivery vehicle it behooves you to correctly and properly fill out and maintain your drivers logs and your daily veh inspection sheet. Any and all deficiencies need to be recorded daily. Then the liability and onus to correct such problems is back on the employer.

If you so desire, there is a s~~~ ton of avenues you can take to “get involved”.
Personally I would just go get another job
