It’s already backfiring. They thought they could weaponized sexism and snipe their enemies. They could target their victims. But it’s not a bullet, it’s a bomb.

Weaponized sexism has taken out more liberals than conservatives. Besides taking too many pawns off the board, it’s caused some to doubt whether liberals are as altruistic and righteous as they claim to be.

But it’s also a weapon that the victim has to succumb to. You need them to admit it and resign. If they don’t resign, all you have is doubt. Trump won’t resign so it cannot fully take him down.

What’s worse, using the weapon runs the risk of giving people a chance to ignore you and focus on the actual issues. So many have done this. They don’t care about sex scandals anymore.

There is also one thing that never gets talked about much. It never pays to be the snitch. What happens with the women who claim they were abused? Nothing ever good. They are either destroyed or put up as a perpetual victim. There is no option to just make your statement and move on with your life. You snitch, you lose. Not saying that’s the way it should be, but that is how it is. The exception may be those who trying and keep the issue quite, do not look to punish, but only look to make good on the temporary popularity they have and try to be remembered as something other than a victim.
