I use 2 songs by Elvis Presley as an analogy. 1- The wanderer in which he depicts himself as a manly stud by wandering around with every girl in town. In modern terms; P.U.A./pump & dumper. 2- Run Around Sue “Whatever you do, stay away from Run Around Sue.” depicting her as a slut, whore, skank, etc. for doing the same thing with men that makes him so cool as the Wanderer with women. Modern terms; “riding the c~~~ carousel”.
My question/point: Is this a double standard? If so, wouldn’t it behoove us MGTOW to leave the hypocrisy to the feminazi regime & be above & beond all that?
Any feedback, positive, negative or whatever would be appreciated tyvm.

    Is this a double standard?

A principle that is UNFAIRLY applied in different ways to different people or groups.

    Morality?

A particular system of values and principles of conduct, especially one held by a specified person or society.

    Both songs are standards.

“The Wanderer” is not depicted as you state. Rather, the wanderer is depicted as a guy who roams from town to town but is going nowhere. It is a tale of a man without purpose. A cautionary tale.

“Runaround Sue” is not depicted as you state. Rather, a man is warning other men that she is a “disloyal lover”. She roams from man to man but is going nowhere. It is a tale of a woman without purpose. A cautionary tale.

These songs contain a principle fairly applied to the individuals. Therefore, they are not double standards. They are a cautionary standard.

    Peace brothers

Ok, it helps to hit the ‘update profile’ icon. *Now* I have a brief intro that I will expound upon when I have time. As many of you have noticed I’m sure, I’m kinda new @ this. With my Glock 21 or an M-16 I’ll show you how it’s done son, but this forum thing I’m still stumbling.

Musicians write different songs all the time depending on their mood at the time so trying to find some moral or ethical message in them and say ,hey this is what the singer is all about is a mistake IMO.

No buddy. Make a new thread like you did for this one. Just file it under “INTRODUCTIONS” and it will show up on all of our screens. No one wants to have to search for your introductions. You can copy and paste if you want.

Hope your day is going well.

Tuna or not, you are a c~~~.

"Women are directly adapted to act as the nurses and educators of our early childhood, for the simple reason that they themselves are childish, foolish, and short-sighted—in a word, are big children all their lives, something intermediate between the child and the man, who is a man in the strict sense of the word. Consider how a young girl will toy day after day with a child, dance with it and sing to it; and then consider what a man, with the very best intentions in the world, could do in her place.” Quote from Arthur Shopenhauer, 17th century philosopher

As an afterthought, It should also be noted that “slut shaming” also exists because women don’t like other women who are “easy”. They prefer to make it as “difficult” ( and costly ) as possible for men.

    • Has a woman ever made it easy for you?
    • Even a woman who didn’t put out…. did she ever want to hook you up with a friend of hers?
    • Did a woman ever give men REAL and HONEST tips on how to score more?
    • When you’re going through a dry-spell, is a woman willing to help you out?
    • Do women give accurate and useful advice on how to get more tail?

    Not a chance.
She wants it to be a HUGE hurdle in the name of the sisterhood.

So when you score a lot, you’re gonna get “respect” – from other men, and women!! Their enforcement of double standard generating “respect” and “stud status” for men is such a sure thing . . . . that they will even attempt to shame you for NOT getting it.

    Disrespect for not getting it.
    More respect for getting it.

MGTOW call bulls~~~ on the double standard.

Men do not have a problem with women who enjoy & have sex openly and freely.

    In fact, that’s every WHORE’S problem . . . .
    — >> because every “slut” lowers every whore’s price.

So you’re going to see women “slut shaming” each other much more vociferously than men.

MEN don’t shame “sluts” for enjoying sex openly and freely.
The problem is when “sluts” pretend they are NOT sluts.

    /audio/if-youre-not-a-slut-who-is/

… and that’s another double standard perpetuated by women.

I want a boyfriend/relationship/commitment, but I also want to be able to sleep around , and you’re gonna pay for my mistakes . . . . and no I’m not a slut”.

    “Oh yeah you ARE”.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

If I want to think a woman is a slut for f~~~ing every dude she sees, thats my buisness.

If woman wants to think I m a Dog for all that stuff I did, thats her buisness.

But what does a Girl want, an inexpierianced clod, or a guy that know what hes doing.

I dont want a used up slut.

I dont give a f~~~ about any double standard.

    Either did Elvis.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

Everyone needs to know how deep the water is before they dive in head first.

That analogy is perfect for my learning style (as indicated by my not knowing how to do a quote) but what better way to get to know everyone than p~~~ing lots of them off before ‘hello’? (sarcasm)
Finally did an intro btw, ty 4 explaining how.

joking aside. If it were me. I would take some time, write an intro, tell us where you’re comming from, how you got here etc. We get so many divisive posters that we are on guard 24/7 I know it sounds crazy, but some people here, (myself included to some extent), can tell if the author of an intro is male female, sincere or misleading. It’s not hard, just be honest without doxing yourself and people will open up to you. If you don’t do an intro it seems you’re trying to hide something and most of the guys here have a lifetime of deception being played on them.

    They don’t need anymore.

    Over to you……………

    my learning style

I fixed the above quote for you and inserted it above your comment.

Quoting is easy and there;’s a “how to” in the sidebar under tips (on the right)

    • Select / highlight the block of text you want to quote.
    • Hit the “QUOTE” button directly to the right of that comment.
    • It will throw that block into the compose window below.
    • then you can just comment underneath it.

We really need a “sarcasm” font. Careful with using sarcasm too early. It can make you look petulant. It doesn’t translate to print and requires tone of voice to be effective.

Have you been watching the Matrix – Part II or something?
“You do not truly know someone until you fight them”.

    Doesn’t translate well here either.

I don’t think you do. Most of us use /s or /sarc and the rest of the MEN-bers understand. I think it’s now pretty standard on the interweb. I think most of us get it.

Actually , I looked into it and we can create a sarcasm shortcode that slants a block of text to the LEFT – instead of to the right (like traditional italics). It’s a good idea and rather amusing. But at least it would have a visual indicator so there is nothing to misinterpret.

And PS. I like your avatar.

    It’s good to have the old BlacqueJacque Shellacque . . . . . back.
