The worst thing that could possibly happen to a photojournalist at the 2016 Rio Olympics would be having their photography equipment stolen. That’s what happened to News Corp. photographer Brett Costello.

Costello was ordering coffee at a cafe on Thursday when he was approached by a woman asking for help. Unfortunately for him, she was merely a distraction as two male accomplices made off with Costello’s equipment bag before he realized what was happening.

When I was in Amsterdam two street punks started following us and then talking tough and threatening to feel us out for a robbery, my brother stopped dead and turned ready to rumble telling these punks to f~~~ off, while I walked toward an open cafe to pick up a knife from one of the tables and level the motherf~~~ers if they attacked my brother out in the open, I didn’t even think twice when the threats started flying. I was gonna go at both of them like a food processor.

My brother would White Knight for me and I for him! It’s nice to go places with men that aren’t cowards.

White Knight for a stranger? Perhaps at one time, but that time has long past. I only protect the people that are willing to protect me. My neighbor too, he’ll come out armed and draw down on anyone f~~~ing with me, it’s a two way street…
