The best NHL game I"ve seen in two decades.

Back in the day, I was a fairly hardcore NHL fan. It’s been over 20 years since I’ve seen a game and tonight I was fortunate enough to watch the Nashville Predators @ Winnipeg Jets Stanley Playoff game live with a fellow brother.

Although we were for opposite teams winning, the both of us witnessed one of the greatest games in my memory. At the end, we both agreed that we witnessed one hell of a game and were both glad at what we had watched. I was and am grateful for this experience and it was a damn good time! Huge Winnipeg Jets fan! I am from Winnipeg and now live in rural Manitoba. Were all pretty excited here… that was one hell of a hockey game. Our team has something special this year and I predict we will be bringing the most storied, most coveted, trophy in all of sports back to Canada this year. Its just our year… this team has caught lightening in a bottle and has that special swagger.

The Jets haven’t lost a home game in 2 months at home and overall, including playoffs and regular season, we are 17-3 in our last 20 games.

I really hope their excellent play and this hugely entertaining series will bring some new fans into the hockey family and maybe lure back a few old fans who do not watch. This series has the capacity to do this because both teams are playing the game the way it is meant to be.
