Don’t feel too bad. I almost got pulled into that at work a few months ago. Attractive, short statured, 18 year old, the younger sister of another cute girl I once met elsewhere.

Fortunately I knew from past experiences where that was going. So I killed it before it became a problem.

Thinking about the potential problems she would bring and that her looks were going to be gone in a few years was enough to bring me back to reality.

when ever I go into a coffee shop or whatever my exchange is literally “can I get x please” they then give me the amount, I pass the money over and I give a “thankyou”

no interest in any other sort of contact

Agreed, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying the moment. It’s only if you start breaking your principles to win her favor.

And it definitely helps as you get older. Even if your drive doesn’t deep, your wisdom starts moving towards the forefront your thoughts. You still see a pretty girl, you also see a very expense girl who will absolutely ruin your life. You see a woman you can’t have an intelligent conversation with, and who shares none of your interests. You see someone who needs to experience the parts of life you don’t want to go relive again. You see chains.

    Ok. Then do it.

Hey man, it’s all good. I was at a mall today and saw my fair share of hot chicks thinking “Man, just 5 minutes alone…” but then I think of what I’ve learned and I snap out of it. It’s like Billy Ocean said in one of his songs “You can look at the candy, but you don’t have to eat”. And those are words I’ve lived by for a while now.

I, Lelouch Vi Britannia, command you, all of you, to Go Your Own Way!!
