Something and someone would survive… most certainly. But it won’t be any of us. Well, maybe MGTower. But seriously, are we honestly advocating for the total destruction of western civilization just because we let the chickens take control of the hen house for a few decades?
Actually, when looking around, one is FAR more inclined to notice the leftists / progressives / SJWs / feminists are the ones aggressively advocating “the destruction of western civilization”.
What we see from MGTOW ranges anywhere from rigidly pushing back on that — to “no f~~~s given”.
Men already saved western civilization – TWICE through two world wars – at the costs of many millions of male lives, and in +70 years of “peace time” look what has become of it. Detroit wasn’t even bombed. It exploded from the INSIDE. Yet Hiroshima now flourishes.
Men (as an entire organism) have learned. And, nobody can be surprised if men now take the attitude: “I’m not saving this s~~~ for a 3rd time”.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.And how, exactly, do you propose doing that when the existing power structures have a vested and personal interest in doing the exact things that are running civilization over the cliff?
You start by doing what most of us have already begun doing… marginalizing the women, manginas, SJWs, pussy beggars and simps who desire authority without responsibility. Wherever possible. stop feeding them, stop giving them money, stop paying them attention, stop talking about them. Treat them like they are invisible.
I believe it was Grover Norquist who said “I don’t want to abolish government, I simply want to reduce it to the size where I can drag it to the bathroom and drown it in the bathtub.”
And that would undoubtedly be the next step. Revolution. Rand’s “looter” class will not give up their power easily… but unfortunately there is no Galt’s Gulch for us to hide in and no infinite energy machine to power our rational society while we wait for this one to die on its own.
So if we want to preserve anything that’s been built so far, we’re going to have to fight for it. And no, women will not vote to have their right to vote taken away… but remember, they didn’t vote to GET the right to vote either. We gave that to them and we can take it away if we want.
This is not a fight that can be won from within the existing system… but the full scale collapse of Western Civilization is not the only alternative and certainly not the best one. It is simply the laziest, most hate-fueled and spiteful one.
I bet most mgtow are armed. Many preppers too.

The vlogger, CSMGTOW, while usually thought provoking is simply showcasing his own subconscious assumptions and biases in the video. He’s based in the UK, a disarmed nation, lives in an urban area, and he most likely never served in the armed forces either. Therefore, he’s assuming that all other MGTOWs live like he does in the urban areas of disarmed nations and never served in the armed forces.
I on the other hand, live in the US, live in a rural area, served for 30 years active and reserve, and fought in both Iraq war and the ‘Stan.
I will get through an Argentine-style SHTF event quite nicely, thank you.

Okay, I’m done ranting for now. You’re all adults and free men, to the extent that anyone can be, so of course choose to act as you see fit.
But allow me, if you will, to offer this advice to the would-be post collapse survivalists: Go now.
Liquidate all your non-essential assets, collect all your cash, max out all your credit cards, borrow money from blue-pill friends even… and secure a strategic location with well rights and get your new home built. Convert your vehicle to diesel, bury your bio-fuel tanks, learn how to grow food, breed, keep and slaughter animals and salt, can and dehydrate your own supplies and start your farm. Buy and build your wind generator, stock up on simple tools and prepare your defensive measures.
Most of all, put together your team because there’s no way you’re surviving alone. You need muscle, agricultural, engineering, medical, tactical, psychological and leadership skills just as a start, not to mention entertainment and a sense of purpose… and nobody can do all of that on their own.
Do all these things now so that in five to ten years you’ll actually be ready to have a reasonable shot at survival when the economy collapses, the veneer is torn off and the Golden Horde starts shambling out of the cities like zombies.
Real survivors aren’t hanging out on the internet talking about watching the world burn… they’re too busy wrapping themselves and the people they love in a bubble of pre-industrial skills and living the life they’ll expect to be living once it’s all over.
Imagine the power is cut and this website and the entire Internet along with it is gone. What’s your next step when that happens? If you’re sitting at your desk at home and thinking it’s time to run down, grab your bugout bag, get in the truck and head for the hills, you’re already dead. The people who are going to survive won’t even know or care that the end has come until the bodies start piling up at the edge of their property.

Why do you care so much whether we give a s~~~ about the world or not?
Why do any of us here care about anything any other of us thinks or says? Are we just here to have our own viewpoints reinforced by others so we can feel justified in them? I didn’t come here to join a support group. I came here to challenge and be challenged.
I happen to agree with the premise of OP’s linked video and I’m not sorry if my disagreement with the “let it burn” world view makes you uncomfortable nor am I sorry for caring about something even though it’s apparently unfashionable to do so.

The only way I’d work with others in a scenario like we’re talking about, is if I’m with family or other MGTOWs. Otherwise, I’d rather be on my own in a survival situation.

When I imagine a MGTOW fueled “let it burn” style collapse, I see the following:
1) Critical Mass. The number of men “going their own way” who no longer have any f~~~s left to give for anything reaches an inflection point. As a result, things stop getting done and the infrastructure of our society begins to crumble. I think you’d see it first in the delivery services… a terminal number of product packers, dock loaders, truck drivers and shelf stockers simply stop doing their jobs and the flow of food, fuel and consumer goods slows to the point that people in cities start to experience real and interminable shortages.
2) Confrontation. Due to the lack of workers and the stresses on the remaining ones this would produce, a highly visible watershed moment where a group of regular men are trapped or blown up or forced at gunpoint to do a deadly task occurs and it sparks a sympathetic walkout among a large number of men who were previously on the fence.
3) Convulsion. The government and soft handed white knights attempt to step in to fill the gap but it’s too little too late. Food riots, violent protests, inner cities on fire, armed citizens and weekend preppers fighting in the streets to grab resources and scramble to safety. Women, children and manginas in free-fall, rending cloth and gnashing teeth.
4) Anarchy. Soldiers called in to restore order strip off their uniforms and walk away. Angry, vengeful men in sensitive locations sabotage the remaining workings. Bandits, assholes and desperate individuals commit atrocities for no reason. Society literally falls apart (or is blown to bits) around us.
5) Aftermath. In the ensuing vacuum, an external power makes its move and invades or the remains of the government and the brainwashed men it still controls cauterizes the wounds and imposes a form of martial law that would make 1984 look like a child’s birthday party.
The end result being that most of what we know today will be laid ruin, a very large number of men, women and children will perish and the only freedom anyone will have will be that which they can secure at gunpoint and only for the duration their ammunition holds out.
Believe me, that’s not a world any of us have the skills or resources to survive and flourish in. But hey, who gives a f~~~, right? Let it burn.

That won’t stop them eating and it won’t stop them spending. Eventually they will eat all the seed corn. Eventually they will print out so much money from nothing to continue spending it that its utility for exchange disappears. Not that there will be anything to spend it on once all the seed corn is eaten.
So all you’ve done is hasten the inevitable collapse.
And that would undoubtedly be the next step. Revolution.
Again, how do you propose going about that? Biologically, productive men are outnumbered by consuming women. Add in the blue pills that support the women and the power structures that depend on the unsustainable status quo and the odds against any sane revolution are infinitesimally small.
It only becomes feasible after a collapse happens, not before, and possibly not even then.
And no, women will not vote to have their right to vote taken away… but remember, they didn’t vote to GET the right to vote either. We gave that to them and we can take it away if we want.
Can we? Once again, HOW do you propose going about that? Can you give me a method that won’t foment such social upheaval that it precipitate the ongoing collapse? Denying women (or just non-tax-payers in general) the vote is a means of preventing societies from becoming unsustainable, and any society that pulls itself out of the next batch of ashes would do well to understand that, but I can’t think of a way of sealing up that particular can of worms once it’s been opened that doesn’t rely in or accelerate societal collapse.
If you have a workable plan to achieve it that doesn’t collapse civilization or depend on civilization having already collapsed, I’d like to hear it.
