Greetings MOD, i think there should be an option for private threads (readable to logged in users only) so if anyone wants to post a thread, and they think someone is trying to do a little stalking on them, they can then make the thread private if they wish. But generally it’s a good idea to keep the majority of threads open, so new guys will be able to see we’re real.

I was new to MGTOW forums just a few days ago, i decided to look at some threads, and i wanted to jump right in, so open forums as standard, and private as optional.

    Kind Regards.

I like the clarity of knowing, “ok this is going public.”

Yes that’s extremely important and should always be thought about before anyone clicks submit. You‘re doing it right: (i.e If you won’t say it in life, don’t say it here). Thats’ the right way to do it.

The infiltrator(s) are counting on that for an opposite reason and using the open concept to cause HARM. That’s why they say that crap, but they get smoked out so fast now we don’t even negotiate with them anymore. Thanks to all of you as well.

it’s good for Men in blue pill world to see. Helps them decide to jump in or not.

I know three men lurking here. And, even though two of them are too “ghost” to pop up, I think it can serve a very positive purpose to let people lurk.

Definitely. Discovered “MGTOW” as a lurker myself years ago although I already was long before. The testimonials (on the homepage and in the intros) speak for themselves.

Confirmed. I think some things could be private but can’t specify at this time. Either way is cool.

My thoughts exactly. If people found out I was a MGTOW outside of the internet, I have no problem with it. I’ve shown my face here before on my profile picture. One of the main reasons I took it down though is because it p~~~es SJWs/gynocentric c~~~s off to not know who I am.

Otherwise, I say exactly the same s~~~ I say in here out in life. I’d call Hitlary C~~~on a c~~~ straight to her face.

My opinion is keeping the forums open with a private area for members only. ..90 % open.

    That is also a possibility.

I would say the Introductions and Top Gun sections should probably be viewable to the public. Other sections I would consider requiring people to be logged in. If someone reads Intro and Top sections and doesn’t like what is on here, then they won’t like the rest. If they do, it’s easy to make an account and if they can’t even take that much of an effort, they won’t really be helped by anything they’d have read here anyway.

Additionally perhaps if everything wasn’t out there, there is less risk of attack and other things. But I don’t know.

I really like that one. I fits her just like Huma’s strap on chode dildo.

I pretend my dead Catholic and Baptist grandmothers are perched on my shoulder at all times while on the Internet. Other than my periodically scathing tone and use of potty words, they’d agree with everything I write. I don’t think they’d like the above statement though but would agree. It’s a long dead old lady thing from women born 115 years ago about not speaking of such vile subjects in public.

It would be cool to have a private area, but I’m of the opinion everything is hackable so I’d just rather know everything is public. MSNBC would try to slaughter me, but I’d turn it around on them. I’m pretty damn slippery.

I can see this thread and I think the forums should be open to the public as well.
Great job on improving an already awesome website.

Logged in and can read it. It’s nice to punt the c~~~s from time to time I’ll admit.

Leave it public. Anything we need to say can be said out in the open for the entire world to hear.

We could have specific sections cordoned off but the primary boards should remain open for public viewing. Yes the very act of registration itself is enough to put off most casual visitors.

I mean, I practically stumbled my way into MGTOW and I spent some weeks reading through the forums before I registered and fully immersed myself. Had the forums been locked away, I would have walked on never knowing what wisdom it held.

Sometimes people won’t know what they are looking for until they happen to bump into it.

But if you can read this, we also would like your input if you have any opinion on whether or not you think we SHOULD be doing this already i.e making the forums private altogether and “for members only”.

If you make a forum to restrictive, you risk creating an echo chamber.

It might be best to just limit the number of posts for new members, per hour, outside of editing of their own posts. And make a minimum number of posts for new members before they can post a thread. Infiltrators will try to spam the number of posts quickly, so they can create topics, which will flush them out.

This is one of the points we considered. Like “max one new topic per day — until you have 100 stars” or something. Still mulling it over. Thank you Faust and all.

You’re welcome. Though having the star count be part of the requirement limits might cause problems in of itself.

From what I understand. The point is to flush out the infiltrators and allow the rest of us to have constructive dialogue on various topics.

I’m in favor of a separate refined Red Pill zone where we discuss matters of self improvement. Top notch stuff that those who have fully embraced the red pill can have deeper more in-depth discussions. Uninterrupted by those just starting to swallow the pill. Perhaps a small section.

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything

I say leave something like that public read only, but have some minimum postings number and a base number of stars required to participate. Let the newbies and lurkers see it though.

Infiltrators will try to spam the number of posts quickly, so they can create topics, which will flush them out.

    That’s a very intriguing strategy.

When I joined 1.5 years ago, I could not say that about joining. We all had a lot to learn. This place is a tractor beam for trolls. It has gotten way better in the trolling department though. We had a bot troll hitting us at one time. I’m sure Key remembers that spew quite well.

The Vamps were funnest trolls in my term here. They kept coming back to get their asses handed to them repeatedly. They were the most vapid c~~~s imaginable. Hell, they pretty much made our case for us.

I remember I found this place via Google. I read a few posts and realized this was my home. I joined immediately. Disappeared member Triklops from India thought I was a c~~~ due to my handle. He was a master Tuna finder too.

Can see thread without being logged in. Keeping the forums open is good practice, helps more men out, I was a lurker for many days just digesting the info before joining. If MGtow.com saves 10 lives per 1 infiltrator, that is a small price to pay.

I’m for leaving it MGTOpen.. I look forward to the possiblity of punting a c~~~ one day. I’m a firm believer in Freedom over Security.

Single guys come home, look at what’s in the fridge, and go to bed. Married guys come home, look at what’s in bed, and go to the fridge.......But the best representative of MGTOW is…………… an empty chair,.
