Test Post- requesting a short test response – can't figure out how to quote right

Howdy Gents
Please someone reply with a short answer so I can figure out how to quote with the poster’s name included. All I get is the text but not the poster’s name.

Sure thing & thanks for asking.

1. just select / highlight the text you want to quote.
2. Click the “QUOTE” button on the right of that post.
3. It will throw the quoted block down into the compose window for you.
4. Just start typing underneath it.

NOTE: You can also quote the whole comment by just clicking the QUOTE button and not selecting any text first. It’s rarely necessary to quote an entire passage. Most useful for short sentences and thoughts to reply to specifically. As you like of course.

Thanks hitman, it’s a critical feature because it’s easy to misunderstand what specific quotes are being responded to. This is the best technically designed online forum I’ve participated in.
