Tequila..

on a trip out west a while ago,
my friend had a bottle of tequila…1800 was the name
a reposado ..or “rested ” ..
mexican law states it rests for a minimum of two months.
Delicious. neat or followed with salt and lime.
so i tried another reposado by Patron..
very good, but the 1800 was smoother.
tonight i will try a cheaper bottle, by Espolon another reposado.
Tequila to my knowledge has 3 catagories
1. blanco or ‘silver ” .not aged at all
2. reposado, aged as described above..
3. anejo..or “aged” aged a minimum of two years ..pricey .
ANY THOUGHTS on ” TA-KILL-YA ?as i used to call it…
i got kicked out of a bar many years ago and swore off the “ta kill ya ” that night…actually the next morning in JAIL ..( another story )…
tell me about YOUR tequila adventures, preferences and experiences…

Jajajaja, I have a bottle of 1800 añejo, best one i have tasted so far, and another one of “jose cuervo” reposado, which is cheaper, but absolutely, the 1800 is soo good, and i want to buy one of “don julio” but actually is more expensive than the 1800

thanks for the info..the Espolon is half the price of the 1800 and it’s not nearly as good..
a few more sips and i won’t care as much as i do now though !..
1800 neat is beautiful..
this espolon NEEDS the salt and lime..
i guess you get what you pay for…

1800 is my favorite too. I like the silver tequila, no salt lime only.

i don’t think the kids today are having as much fun as we did ..
too many feminist rules..
when i retire i plan on having those “eyeball headaches” ,
prescription marijuana all the way !!!
for now the 1800 seems real nice…
