That’s interesting, the theory is worth exploring further. Is sex ‘ok’ if it’s done as motivation for better performance? Assuming that it’s true. I’d add the following criteria.

– Although the student is a minor, the fact that the student took the steps necessary to improve academic performance shows consent. Could also throw in a parental consent form…like the ones needed to go on a field trip.
– The student could be male or female and the teacher would need to make good on the reward regardless of their own sex. It’s only fair, and for the good of the student after all.
– And what if the student isn’t attracted to their teacher…can they get a segregate? Turn the library into an in-school whore house.
– The student should have the option of a cash payout, with the amount based on current prostitution market rates.

I think we’ve just solved the education problem in a America.

But seriously…well, no still not serious. If this is an actual reason, then why not allow prostitution? If sex improves the performance of a student, wouldn’t it also improve the performance of an employee? Why can’t a manager hand out coupons to the local brothel during bonus time? Why can’t I get a hooker to celebrate losing those last 20 lbs? If sex is the motivation needed to get the job done, where is the problem?
