Over the week end, I was able to see some of my family, including my gramps. We got to bulls~~~ing and all that and somehow or another one of my aunts asked when I was gonna settle down. My Grandpa said to let me enjoy my freedom, I’ve got the rest of my life for that, and one of my aunts said that if a man doesn’t marry by 40 he will never marry.

That’s true, but it’s because he doesn’t want to marry. Women think men age like they do, bitch please. At least that’s what she was getting at, like I won’t be able to attract someone. Of course this coming from my one single aunt who’s basically laying the first few bricks in her WALL. Anyway, my Gramps shooed her away. All the guys standing out on the porch. He told me and some of my cousins that

“There’s nothing a woman hates more than to see men have fun without them, white don’t mean what it used to, if I was your age right now, I’d be single forever.”

And that was weird coming from my grand dad. He’s getting up there in age, fought in ww2, married and had 6 kids. And that’s really really true. He seems to be the only one genuinely concerned with the men’s happiness, everyone else like my aunts want me to make some woman happy regardless of whether it makes me happy. Some old words of wisdom from my grandpa to all of you.

I always love hearing from men of that generation. Not only do I have tremendous respect for what they did in ww2 and/or korea but, they are the generation of men who supposedly had it the best. They are the ones who should believe that marriage is the road to a man’s happiness. To hear them say don’t get married means a lot.

I bathe in the tears of single moms.

Personally, I’ve never had the pleasure of speaking to my grandfathers. Both died young.
When I was younger I would hang off the words of my uncles, and great uncles.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

Well, I would have, but in his old age, he doesn’t partake. I will say that we did enjoy a few cigars though. 😀

Haha…I love old people that see the reality us younger guys are living in. Gotta love how gramps keeps that slut shaming classy like that. I’m sure he realizes that when he was a young man in his 20’s getting married he was probably getting a virgin, or something that he popped, where as today women don’t want to marry early so they can f~~~ around so someone in their late 20s/early 30s marrying is just getting used goods. These days its a f~~~ing mockery they all want that fancy wedding with the white dress when they aren’t even close to pure.

Yea, you would think post-feminist movement we would be done with the white dress s~~~. Same old story, they want to have their cake and eat it too.

I am in my 40’s now, and so happy I never married, and will never marry. I mean, I guess if Jennifer Lawrence came up to me and proposed with her youth and millions I would, but I don’t think that is going to be happening anytime soon.

Yeah I’ve seen some of them from my high school days getting married with the white dress and you know they are not the least bit pure. Almost makes you wonder if the guy she’s marrying even knows her true history, or about the indecent acts she committed in her younger years.

they are the generation of men who supposedly had it the best.

Most likely because so many of them died in the war that the women of their generation had to tighten up their own s~~~ to get one of the remaining intact men. And the women of their generation were still smart enough to understand that, unlike modern women.

Almost makes you wonder if the guy she’s marrying even knows her true history, or about the indecent acts she committed in her younger years.

Whatever s~~~ she did in her past is nothing compared to the s~~~ she is going to drag him through once he makes the mistake of signing on the dotted line.

I can deal with a woman who has an adventurous past. I sure as hell have one of my own (also adventurous present). But nagging? Telling me what I can do with my own money? Minivan? Divorce? Child support for kids I don’t get to raise? Alimony? F~~~ that. I ain’t going there.

Unless you want to raise children, marriage should never come into the picture. There is no benefit at all. If a girl is worried you might kick her to the curb (because she doesn’t have a ring on her finger), it’s easier to keep her in check. You give away that luxury when you f~~~ up and say your vows.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.

I can’t wait to be 40 then, lmao

It is a common failing of childhood to think that if one makes a hero out of a demon the demon will be satisfied.
