Over 10 years ago, I took the ferry from Denmark to Malmo, Sweden. Upon arriving in Sweden, I noticed significant differences between the gender norms in Sweden and the rest of Europe. I immediately noticed the hostility by the culture, especially by Swedish women, towards men who had the masculine virtues and who appeared to have the same.
