In a unanimous decision the Supreme court rules speech labeled as hate speech as still legal.

The left has been labeling anything they don’t agree with as hate speech and trying to outlaw it. Outlaw it to the point that the Supreme Court had to rule on it a few days ago. Canada has been doing a good job of this, but USA says no, hate speech is free speech.

The way it was intended to be interpreted.

Nice speech does not need protection.

Terrific to see it. It’s only called “hate speech” by those who hate free speech, anyway.

Take that, Canada. The US remains uncucked.

Absolutely right KM, free speech is a wonderful right that works both ways. This fact is always forgotten by those who are blinded by their own hatred, insecurities and ignorance.

So does this mean that Berkeley can’t keep rioting every time someone tries to give a speech? Will the President of the university be charged if they don’t protect those rights?

We are talking about Berkley, right? Yeah, the mayor will turn all of Berkeley, CA. into a safe space. For the “resist” movement.

National Guard will most likely have to be called in.

I don’t think the “revolution” will be given up that easy by the mental patients. It will be fun to watch the convulsions they go through when reality rolls in.

Like it or not: What gave the right for the KKK to speak of racism and hatred also gave MLK to speak of equality and justice. We all have the right to our opinions, even if I may think they are bats~~~ crazy or evil. I can defend your right to p~~~ me off while also defending my right to disagree. That is what the 1st Amendment is about. Unpopular ideas often become popular ideas in time.
