Another guilty before proven innocent case. Trial by media. Someone please explain to me the recent barrage of sexual harassment claims. Why are so many coming out of the woodwork decades after the fact? Hollywood types suddenly develop a sense of morality?
I realize there are many deviants in that industry and no doubt some allegations are true, however I call bulls~~~ on many claims, particularly where women are involved.

Women f~~~ing their way to the top is nothing new, we all know that. They all could have walked away from the casting couch unscathed. Their insatiable lust for the almighty dollar trumped any shred of morality they may have possessed. Perhaps actors in the Twilight of their careers are seeking newfound notoriety?

Exactly. I have been asking myself this same thing. Why and why now? It’s like a pandemic .. the flood gates of accusations .. all of a sudden. Opening the old vaults in Tinsel Town.
Hollywood and the superficially glamorous world it represents. Makes a person wonder if they are all actually true. Can’t help but wonder about the motives.

Also, makes me kind of glad I don’t have TV news channels hooked up. I’m staying out of the news loop, the deluge .. and reading books without batteries and watching old movies and concerts instead. Going camping.

He’s being accused by a man and knowing what f~~~~~s are capable of and how they think of hetero men I tend to believe this particular accusation. He wouldn’t be the first f~~~~~ to force himself on a younger man. The f~~~~~s’ agenda is to turn ALL Men into f~~s and the trends in the media and movies for the past decades have demonstrated that, let alone their Gay Manifesto stating the same and can easily be found online.

I’m not defending Takei in particular, he may well be guilty. But regardless of his political or sexual orientation the witch hunt and hypocrisy of hollyweird reeks of narcissism at its finest.

Really? I’ve known a couple gays and lesbians… They didn’t rape kids and they didn’t try to ‘convert’ someone. How do you ‘convert’ someone, anyway? You’re either attracted to women, men, both, or are asexual (typically).

This also presupposes that ALL homosexuals have some sort of common agenda… Is there a similar ‘Hetero Manifesto’ and all heterosexuals share the same agenda?

As for trends in the media, they are towards showing homosexuality as being more prevalent than it actually is (e.g. 10% of the population is NOT homosexual), and presenting homosexuality in a positive light. I know well-adjusted gay men, but there is a higher prevalence of substance abuse and depression amongst gay men, than there is among heterosexual men, for instance. So there is some media distortion.

Now a whole bunch of post wall hoes are coming out saying they did this and that. They probably did, but with consent. Still, you can be a feminist hero and make some money these days by doing this.
