refined white sugar can not pass F.D.A. guidelines for safety..
it was “grandfathered ” in due to economic impact if restricted.
    .
1 teaspoon of sugar as pictured will shut off your T cells,
    for about 8 hours..

that sugar might be sweet, but it will kill you ! ( like women )..

Not all sugars are like that, you just have to find the right one!! 😉

Fruits have sugar, the good kind that breaks down easier than the processed crap. Generally though yes, cutting out added sugar is the key.

I thought what I'd do was I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...or should I?

Actually fruits contain fructose in small amounts and with fibre, in the refined products fructose is toxic. It basically causes the same chronic diseases as ethanol, only it isn’t acutely metabolised by the brain like alcohol. I made a post about fructose the other day with a link to the lecture ‘Sugar: the bitter truth’.

Eating fruit is fine due to the small amounts of fructose contained within and the fibre, which speeds up digestion and reduces carbohydrate absorption in the colon.
