She was heating her car keys to open a frozen door lock, very common in Russia. But this video shows something I observed a lot. Women cannot really think causal. I don’t know if it is based on education, society or biology. The causality between open fire and a patrol station is obvious. Why she didn’t get it?
The first observation of this kind I remember was when I was about 13 or 14, back in the 1980. I was playing with my computer and it was hooked up to the telly as it was done at this time. Special computer monitors for home computers came a few years later. My sister (12 at this time) walked in to annoy or anger me and turned off the telly. She was totally surprised everything was still running after turning the telly back on. She knew I was playing on the computer (the box in front of me) and she knew a telly is just showing pictures, but she was not able to connect this two facts.
Another example: My former gf had a wardrobe and the doors didn’t open like it should. So I looked at it, found out the doors was sliding in some kind of plastic rail. I used some silicone oil on it and everything worked smooth again. From this moment on she put this lubricant made especially for plastic and polymers on everything. No matter how often I explained to her, she used it everywhere and did not understand the difference. It was ridiculous.
So I tried it another way and explained her how lubricants work. They apply a thin film on the surface to even out unevenness and reduce friction. Because every material is different one needs different lubricants. I explained to her on a car engine (getting hot, high speed movement of metal etc) vs. the plastic rail of a drawer in her wardrobe and I think she understood.
A few days she used the very same silicone oil to “clean” a plastic garden chair before painting it and then complained the paint wont stick to it. I thought she mad a joke, but when she explained to me all she wanted was a nice slick surface to paint I asked her about the purpose of the film the oil is creating I explained to her shortly before. She explained it just like I had told her and again I had the impression she understood. I asked her to think again why the paint wont stick to the surface, but she could not find the answer. Even after giving her more and more hints she was not able to combine the information to a valid answer.

I got s~~~ grades in school (the best grade i ever got was a B) but even i know not to play with fire at the f~~~ing gas station.

In fact i do not even smoke near a gas station either.
