The article is fundamentally correct in that the adaptation of the brain during aging is driven by socialization and not having specific male/female brain/neurological types.

The same cannot be said for muscular skeletal genetic traits that define how one’s body develops.

Now how this research is used will undoubtedly be used to change the early childhood and elementary school learning environments. That is the real threat from this article.

Boys and girls have varying differences anatomically – that includes their brains.

Socialization molds the raw material. You can’t create with wood what you can with clay. Given the tools.

They are ignoring the science that shows clear differences between ADULT mature male and female brains.

Little children pre-puberty (boys and girls) physically may be a lot more similar, but even so, what they like and dislike are distinct, and these little child brains are not the clearly different adult brains of men and women. We know the brains do not stop growing and fundamentally changing/maturing until up to age 25.

It’s like comparing a small unripe tomato to a fully ripe large tomato.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

The best thing about gender studies is that it’s graduates will have gainful employment asking me if I want fries with that.

What I call the ‘Starbucks Gender Studies Solution’. Pay for part of a useless degree that will only land you a Starbuck’s job. Get the nummies to rack up debt, and have them serving coffee to pay off the debt till they die.
