?I’m interested in interrogating the durability of this tenet of law with respect to the specific case of rape accusations.

Given that we know the instances of false accusations of rape are exceptionally rare (as low as 3% according to one UK government report), isn’t the standard of innocent until proven guilty a poor fit in this area? Innocent until proven guilty assumes an equalitarian utopia, which we very definitely do not inhabit.

Difficulties also abound when trying to conceive of how we could shift the burden of proof onto the accused, and what it would mean to treat most accusations as inherently credible or even binding.

Does anyone want to put forward other examples of the limitations of the innocent until proven guilty idea? Or suggest ways of navigating this area? Or does everyone want to disagree with my contentions?

?A fair trial isnt good enough for this c~~~. Even if theres a chance if the accused man is innocent, she still wants him to be guilty.

The “3% false accusations of rape” is a bulls~~~ statistic. Terrence Popp addressed the 3% statistic about rape reporting in a recent video. Transcribed from the video, at 4:00:

[ … ] I don’t know about you, but I checked out the Uniform Crime Report quite often, and every single year 25% of those accused of rape are exonerated by DNA. Another 27% recant the accusation once they are confronted by a polygraph. And what do these numbers tell me? Anywhere between 25% and 52% of all rape accusations are false.” [ … ]

Also, Terrence Popp’s video made reference to an article from the National Review along the same line. The article basically says that 5% of college rape accusations are provably false, and 35% are provably true (or at least result in formal charges or discipline). The other 60%? No one knows one way or the other.

[ … ] Specifically, in their analysis of sexual-assault cases at a large university, the authors found that 5.9 percent of cases were provably false. However, 44.9 percent cases “did not proceed” – meaning there was insufficient evidence, the accuser was uncooperative, or the incident did not meet the legal standard of assault. An additional 13.9 percent of cases could not be categorized due to lack of information. That leaves 35.3 percent of cases that led to formal charges or discipline against the accused. So there is obviously a lot of uncertainty here, a lot of he-said/she-said when allegations are filed. It would be a mistake to conclude, on the basis of the existing evidence, that nine out of ten assault claims are genuine. [ … ]

Proving a negative is often harder than proving a positive. With rape there is sometimes physical evidence and in some cases witnesses. When the burden of proof is reversed the best one has is an Alibi. If one wants to make an argument or a point for that matter they must produce evidence. I could say my computer has an unlimited computational capacity. If the burden of proof is not on me then my argument is entirely unfalsifiable. One could appeal to the laws of nature saying this will prohibit this very thing. However one cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that I have not circumvented the laws of nature, no matter how unlikely this is. For someone who wants to seek objective reality and do justice this system simply prohibits it.

Yeah like the statistic that X % of raped are “unreported”. How does anyone know how many % of rapes are “unreported”… when they are , um, unreported?

Does someone call in to a hotline and say “I just wanted to let you know that +1 rape is not being reported by me!!”.

More men are raped every year than women, and we’re going to prove it now.

Women think that they somehow *OWN* “rape” — as though rape itself were a wedding and no man could have an opinion about it. But I am taking back “rape”. It’s a MAN thing and women aren’t allowed to have an opinion on it.

If rape is “one of the most underreported crimes in the world”, then that’s because women don’t really give a s~~~ about it. I sat on my seatbelt one time. It sucked and I was sore for a bit, but I cranked some metal all the way to work and by the time I got there, I didn’t give a s~~~. That’s the attitude toward “unreported rape”.

Only 16% of rapes and sexual assaults are reported to the police. If women love to hate rape so much, then why do they constantly miss the opportunity to do something about it?

More men are raped every year than women. When I decided that, I was initially shocked at the statistics, which indicated the opposite: that I was wrong.

Prison rape statistics put the annual number of prisoner rape at approximately 7,000 a year. The average number of women who are “sexually assaulted” every year is 200,780.

    OK WHOAH!!

That’s a BIG fcuking difference. Like a wedding or menopause, it looks like women should own rape and be able to say whatever they want about it. However, like usual when dealing with women, I knew there was some bulls~~~ afoot with that staggering 200,000.

When I forced my man-probe of investigation into this data, I discovered that “sexual assault” is not the same as rape. Apparently women aren’t going by the long-established and very manly Clinton definition of “sexual” when they define “assault”. If it didn’t fit, you must acquit.

64,080 of sexual assaults involve actual “rape” / penetration / intercourse.
And a staggeringly low 26% of these “rapes” were committed by an actual stranger.

Women raped the true meaning of the word “rape”.

A roommate who drinks all your beer isn’t a thief, he’s just a dick. A younger brother who burns your toys isn’t an arsonist, he’s just a dick. A guy who fcuks a drunk girl who passed out in his bed isn’t a rapist, he’s just a dick. Get over it. And here is proof 100% of those drunks sluts are LYING.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-436592/Drug-rape-myth-exposed-study-reveals-binge-drinking-blame.html

26% of 64,000 rape victims is 16,640 women.
Getting your boob grabbed on the subway isn’t “rape”.
    Just like this isn’t “rape”.

A woman might think these pruning measures should be applied to my prison man-rape statistics, but if anything, prison rape is probably more underreported than regular rape.

I have something I call the Treasure Map of Truth that I use when dealing with women. Step one is determining what women actually mean with a word like “sexually”. They never mean what you think they mean. Step two means figuring out how much of it was her fault. It’s usually very high. In this case, 74%. And step three is see where she’s lying her f~~~ing ass off.

Less than half of accused rapists are convicted. 54% are NOT (to be mancise). That means any man accused of and arrested for rape is likely to not have done s~~~.

And of course there are the “convicted” ones did NOT rape anyone either.

If more than 54% of rapes didn’t actually happen, then that reported 16,640 goes down to 7,654. If I was a woman, that’s where I would stop talking. 7,654 women and 6,908 men are raped every year and it looks like women barely squeaked out a majority on this one. That doesn’t mean it’s theirs, but it does make me wrong, which I’m much more concerned about.

By all conservative estimates, 10% of non-prison rape victims are male. That means the final rape statistics for any given year are 6,908 men and 6,889 women.

    Report this.
