Society,……Governments want to remove cash transactions. I am betting the girl had one cash transaction that day and it was yours. Everyone else puts up plastic. The machine adds up the bill from the items you picked out. Swipe the card.
It only takes a few seconds searching to find all the write up on removal of cash from today’s interactions. From the Government’s point of view it is easier to watch and tax your ass, it is also much harder for illegal trade like street drugs. It will be all done “For our own good” but the price will be the loss of a little more freedom.
