Basically the judge ruled in favor of the mother that not only did the father NOT have to be notified of the birth of the child, but that he could be kept out of the hospital room while she was giving birth.

They’re not yours, they’re hers. And the courts agree. “Mother’s rights” trumps “Father’s rights”. To these women you’re nothing more than a sperm donor, and a paycheck.

One more reason i now avoid women like the plague. Every single time you f~~~ one of them, there is a possibility you will end up paying her hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of 20 years…

But the truth is, that’s not even the worst part. The worst part is having a kid, then having it ripped away from you by a disgusting harpy who will poison your own kid against you. The kid will be raised poorly as well due to being raised by a single mother who only wants the child support and welfare handouts, without the responsibility of being a mother. You will never be allowed to intervene, only watch as an innocent life is brought into this world and slowly destroyed, for the sole purpose of hurting you and extracting your resources.

Not a problem for me. I’m not about to make any babies. If anything, I may adopt in the future and that most likely isn’t going to happen either. The courts can stand with these ladies if they want. I hope they’ll help them raise the kids too because Deadly Raver ain’t coming to the rescue.

I think I actually agree that a father doesn’t have the right to be in the delivery room during childbirth. Obviously, mom’s going to be exposed to the world, and giving birth to a man’s child doesn’t mean you have to be exposed to him for potentially several hours. Maybe he can be there but everything is covered, kind of like what they do for c sections. I don’t know.

On the second point, I do think a mother legally needs to notify the father when the birth is happening. Actually, the mother needs to notify the hospital of who the father is in advance, and the hospital needs to notify the father, whether scheduled or emergency. If mom fails to notify the hospital, then she cannot claim that he is the father without a voluntary DNA test. If she does claim who the father is, Dad can still request a DNA test.

Ok. Then do it.

As for these two people in this story having come to an agreement about the father being present during the delivery…? I’d bet a week’s paycheck that she decided to let him in for the delivery after she found out what the hospital bill for that was going to be, and he paid for it as a cost of admission.

As soon as they can deliver a hostage and get the government to force men to pay for it through taxes, they will. Many of them already have. When they can get pregnant without a man, you can bet your ass they will. But they will still be looking to government to force men to pay for their new hostage.

There are plenty of women who’ve seen me naked that I never want seeing me naked again. Besides that, sex naked and very much different then giving birth naked.

And you know women are going to find ANY C~~~ to get pregnant with. All the benefits they get for having a baby are amazing.

As soon as men start saying they have kids in another country, then all men on the low end spectrum can get that sweet sweet welfare money and drain the system.

Its actually one of the reasons why the state makes it so hard to adopt. They get money from the government to take care of foster kids.

What I never got is how the state has no funds to give them clothes or shoe? Never got that one.

I agree with Narwhale. If you aren’t legally married, she can exclude you from the delivery room or OR, in case of a c-section.

As for notification, if she lists you as the father, you should be notified immediately. If you suspect you are the father, you should be able to contact the hospital and receive a paternity test.

Hospitals are to first render medical care, but should have policies in place for when legal disputes are made.
