Since there is a debate going on about a (mythical) shortage of STEM workers in this country and we are dumping tons of tax dollars into getting more females into STEM (which they don’t really want to do, the females who like STEM are already doing it). The females decided we need to add Art to the mix (so they can grab even more money).

Why don’t we call it STEAMS so we can spend money on females studying Sociology too.

Sticking art into the sciences makes sense — if you’re a female, but not to me.
Since it’s taxpayer money anyway, it won’t be a surprise if it really does happen.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

Why can’t people just be adults with personal responsibility that pick and chose their own career paths without making a big ruckus of whom is enrolled in which majors?

Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.

They already put art in STEM by requiring all manner of general education classes in entirely unrelated fields in order to be granted a STEM diploma.

Florida is not known for its erudite scholars, so propaganda from its university’s art department may be dismissed twice: once for being an art department, and once for being Floridian.

They can add an A to STEM all they want, but it still won’t make a degree in A employable.

I think they are missing the point. Art, and sports for that matter, have value and it’s great that they are available. I skimmed through this and I believe the stats. But they shouldn’t be majors. They are very unlikely to lead to a productive career. No amount of truthiness is going to change that.

Taking art type classes does teach creativity and imagination. It is good for you. Sports and other competition type activities are even better in my opinion. Honestly, I think the lack of sports education for girls is a big part of why they are not as successful in the workplace, and in marriage for that matter. They are not trained about how to win, how to lose, how to practice and get better, how to finish your commitments even when you’re losing and the game isn’t fun anymore. How much confidence matters. How to work as a team, how to get joy in your role even if you are not the star player. How appearances don’t mean s~~~ if it doesn’t get the job done. I could go on forever.

    Ok. Then do it.

Only to those who value art and sports.

Meanwhile everyone needs medicine etc. at some time or another.

I think he means beyond the monetary value. Someone more fluid in the neurosciences can confirm/deny/elaborate but I’m pretty sure if you focus too intensely on left-brained activities(logic, science, etc) and neglect the right side (creativity, social, art) it actually causes you brain to function less efficiently.

That’s why a lot of times you see the sharpest programmers play things like D&D or WoW, whatever. Something to stimulate/excercise the right brain to balance out the heavy use of the left.

My theory is that feminists are trying to push mandatory gender studies courses ( wich already happens in liberal arts colleges) into STEM careers. This a problem because feminist postmodern ideology is diametricallly opposed to scientific critical rationalism necesary to make good science.

"We didn't start the fire. It was always burning. Since the world's been turning" "A world that vilifies men only breeds a generation of men that feel no empathy towards women" “In a woman’s mind , there is really no such thing as a ‘we’. In her eyes, earth allways revolves around her, not the other way around. So thinking that your needs , aspirations or desires are valid enough to be persued, or even that you are entitled achive such goals, is like asking your boss for a pay rise in your very first day at the job.”

I couldn’t agree more about sports. I played basketball and tennis growing up. Basketball taught me you only win as a team when you are in that environment. The person that scores the winning basket doesn’t get a shot up without a good screen. Tennis taught me that sometimes you have to suck it up and figure it out for yourself because there is no one out there but you. It’s your victory if you win and your fault if you lose, no excuses.

Come to think of it, I think one of my mistakes in getting married was that I thought I was playing basketball when I was really playing tennis………… Thought I had a teammate when I was really on my own.

Well, won’t make that mistake again….

People will gravitate to what best suits them as they have always done.

A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!
