When I saw this kinetic sculpture I was immediately stunned by the Red Pill significance.
It’s supposed to based on the love story of “Ali and Nina” from a 1937 novel but the visual reality says otherwise.
I thought it may have been me, seeing it through MGTOW eyes but even the general population seem to get the same MGTOW message.

While the installation was inspired by the story about Ali and Nino, it could actually remind many of us of our failed relationships. The emotional spectacle of the two statues depicts how the life cycle of a relationship often goes – two people meet and slowly get to know each other better until they plunge into passion and affection but eventually end up growing apart and separating from one another.

Brother what’s MGTOW about it? For all we know he fell in love, then emotionally abused and later divorced. If anything it’s the plight of the opposite group- once love stricken married men who learned it the hard way.

Perhaps a precautionary tale. Not an art piece to commemorate self-preserving masculinity.

Hiya iLearn, perhaps the pics above don’t show the entire sequence properly. The video in the link does it better.
The sculptor starts with a man and woman facing each other. They’re then attracted and drawn to each other to their first “kiss”. Then they merge and become one.
However, it continues after the Hollywood ending and the man and woman end up being totally apart and facing opposite directions.
It sums up just about every relationship I’ve experienced and seen.

Yes the video is a much better viewing. I thought there were six or eight of them from photos.

I like it ….. however …. my mtow sarcasm tells me that there should also have been a wallet passing from him to her 🙂
