A while ago, i was on dating site and a person tried to scam me wanting me to do video chat on this separate scam website which requires my credit card info to “verify my age.”

I agree, dating sites are a waste of time.

I have used them in the past, and I’ve experienced the scams talked about in your link. The scams are easy to spot though. The grammar is usually poor, and they tend to write stuff that appeals to men, which is something that women seldom do.

Ultimately, to protect yourself, stay off the dating sites, but if you choose to use them, here’s a cardinal rule: never send money and keep your personal info to a minimum while online.

I do believe if you approach these sites knowing damn well you aren’t going to find the woman of your dreams you should be okay. If you have to pay, stay away. However, if you want a good laugh, these sites are a blast.

I do believe if you do go to these sites looking for a woman, then the scams will begin. You might actually land a woman who will eventually take half your s~~~.

I’m doing online dating right now. I’ll say without a doubt most of the women I actually meet have that used up feel. This is the first time I have gotten consistent dates in my life and I’d say I’m just about done with it. I walk around my town and am instantly snapped back into reality when I see that the bottom of the barrel walking around, is closer to the top online.

They are a waste of time. I’m experimenting with POF just for entertainment value as paying taxes has put me in monk mode for the next 6 weeks. I trolled one little smarmy pre-Waller who was making snide comments about men’s intelligence right in her profile.

The women viewing my profile are literally trainwrecks. I can pick up decent looking crazy women in bars so I know it’s not me. As was stated, any woman needing to use online dating is waving a serious red flag right in your face.
