There was a time, long ago, in this galaxy, when people went to events to be entertained. It was a simpler time when people’s minds were tuned into their surroundings…instead of an electronic device!

I was inside of my apartment all day yesterday and getting “cabin fever.” So I decided to go to a movie theater today (to watch Just Getting Started), and this lady was tapping on her smartphone RIGHT AFTER the announcement asking everyone to turn off their cell phones. I could see the bright screen of her smartphone from the corner of my eye and got distracted by it. I got up and moved to a seat far away from her.

Seriously, how much “tap time” does one need with his/her smartphone every day? Your text messages are still going to be there after the movie is over. Why spend $10 to go to the movies to stare at your smartphone?

Sometimes I watch highlights of NBA games, and I see people that are fortunate enough to sit in a $1000 seat near the action—-yet they’re staring down at their smartphones and totally missing the game! I don’t get it.

I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

If shtf, i will be so happy these assholes will completely fall apart and not be able to function without their link to the collective working anymore.

I love the internet and this site, and a few others, and i like looking up info, but i spend lots of time each day off it. I am not panicked when i am not connected. I on purpose have a crap phone for internet.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

Because people are more interested at what others are doing instead of enjoying the moment….

I stand with feet apart and let my balls hang free...Manginas dont have balls...See how they stand and sit at the whim of their masters...

I saw the Grand Canyon once. It was one of those moments where all I wanted to do was silently stare at its majestic beauty.

I’m inclined to call it a mental illness. Pure and simple.

I guess that’s what undeveloped minds do ?

Happens at sporting events all over the place

You see it at football – morons recording penalties or celebrations. All part of the “look at me” c~~~book stuff

who honestly wants to watch a shaky recording of something like a goal in football? No thanks – I’ll just watch it on TV if I want to watch a replay
