So, this is per the story of the two men who managed to get hauled away by the police, who the media says “did nothing wrong”:
    https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2018/04/19/starbucks-victims-speak-out-ask-their-arrests-inspire-change/531582002/

So, they go in and are told that the bathroom is for paying customers only. They go and sit at a table. The manager comes up and ask them if they wanted anything to drink. They say they brought water with them. They were asked to buy something or leave. They refused to leave. They were waiting to have a business meeting, and waiting for someone. Police come, and they are hauled off. They are released. This ends up a nationwide incident.

Starbucks handled this badly. But when a manager asks you if you want something to eat or drink, he is telling you to buy something.

We live in a day and age where a drop in hospitality can be turned into major news.

Did you see the way they were dressed? I always wear sweat pants to an important meeting. Yeah right. No such meeting was going to take place. Don’t kid yourself. They were simply loitering. Too bad it was not handled better.

    they’re coffee is over roasted,
    bitter.
    not worth a dime.
they’re employees have bad attitudes to everyone.
    those two guys were idiots.
they had many chances to AVOID a problem.
seems they had a worse attitude than starbucks.
they can all circle jerk each other till they die.
    NFG.

I am sure no blog is complete without a mangina with bun sipping on some Halloween themed latte typing on his macbook. Intermittently checking her iPhone for Tinder swipes.

Starcucks: “Your wife likes it black, but we introduce the caramel chai latte made with authentic 100% African dick sweat f~~~ing your wife. For no relationship is complete without living the high life. We would ask you to come now, but we know Tyrone comes when you can’t. Have our chai instead”.

I have met and discussed business stuff dressed informally. Does it matter what they were going to discuss or hang out? I don’t care personally. They were there likely to meet someone. But, they didn’t buy anything. It only gets worse if they are discussing “business”. Business is about commerce and you compensate. I recall around Occupy that they didn’t help the local businesses by buying anything but used the bathrooms.

We are in a day and age where corporations particularly, need to have things run right, without breaking into the news like this. Starbucks apparently shut down a bunch of their stores one days for sensitivity training or something.

I bought my first cup of starbucks today.
    It was overdone and bitter.
It was to ‘wake up’, so I could highlight the important parts of courthouse divorce documents I’d just gotten.
Seems my ex had initially submitted for 50/50 of a retirement = total bulls~~~.
Years ago, I called my attorney on it. He hired an expert.
They (her and her scumchad) were notified…..and did nothing to change it.
The good reason = to attempt to have me pay for the analysis.
    But 10 days?
    Until called out on it???
The real reason ties in with what I’d initially been told by the man I was highlighting it for now – – “He’d said that “they go by the divorce decree.”
This was what they were actually trying for i.e. simple divorce decree writing that would be referred back to by them, all these years later, for the purpose of stealing more than their share. When reviewing the dates / time lapses / and bulls~~~, it makes me regret all the more, having ever gotten married, the only exception being having a kid. But I had to fight tooth and nail to get 100% custody.

Dont focus on what they were wearing. Thats doesnt matter at all. Do you know what business they are in? No you dont. So dont assume every businessman wears a suit and tie. Especially not in this world of new media. Im a designer and I wear jeans and t shirts to work in offices in MANHATTAN. Im taken seriously for my skill and reputation. Not my choice of clothing.

I have had plenty of SMALL BUSINESS meetings at a local Starbucks in VERY casual clothing. I hate the place but some clients like to meet there, so i go. Starbucks EFFED UP. The police did NOT need to be called. So what they had not ordered, They were being patient and quiet not causing a disturbance.

Now, If a LONG TIME had passed and they were still sitting there or falling asleep, then the stores actions would be justified.

These men did nothing wrong. ITs ok to WAIT for a friend to arrive before ordering food or drink.

Starbucks did NOTHING WRONG. These entitled t~~~s were LOITERING. Go wait by the street corner if you’re waiting for someone. If you’re inside a place of BUSINESS and not spending money, then you don’t need to be there. That’s trespassing. The police REMOVED them because they had to RIGHT to remove them. All one of these asshats had to do was buy SOMETHING, ANYTHING. A f~~~ing pack of gum for f~~~’s sake. Next time, hold your meeting in a meeting room at a hotel!

So this place of business is required to provide you with free electricity and running water to conduct your affairs, in THEIR ESTABLISHMENT? That’s some weak ass bulls~~~ you’re trying to argue here. If that’s the case, let a bunch of random people come into your residence and take a s~~~, take a p~~~, use your bathroom, and then plop their asses on your couch to watch TV.

You want to wait for a friend, fine. Do it outside. You don’t have to RIGHT to wait in a PRIVATE establishment. Esp when you aren’t spending any money. They were asked to buy something or leave. They refused. They got arrested. The end. F~~~ them!

The men were hostile and belligerent to both the management and the police.
I suspect this was planned and intentional, or it lead to an intentional act on their part to make it into more than it was.

I agree with what you’re saying. I really do.. But what’s not mentioned is how much time had passed. Obviously people shouldn’t loiter. I hate that crap, but we’re police REALLY necessary?? Probably not. We’re they causing trouble? Probably not. It seems everyone overreacted in this case and now it getting blown out of proportion. Even people in the store were asking, “why are you arresting them? What did they do?”

So clearly other patrons were confused as to why this was happening.

I fully respect the rule of law.. But dammit I don’t want to live in a police state.

I just want to add one other thing. Starbucks CULTURE is about hanging out. Lots of people go there and don’t order anything immediately, set up a laptop and start working on, whatever! They encourage people to stay in the store because the thinking is, they will order something eventually.

But again I will say that it seems everyone in this situation overreacted and now it’s being blown out of proportion.

Oh, I went there because women seem to like it, but only for first dates. I’d get there early, buy myself a coffee & sit down. Inexpensive compared to a dinner for two… coffee for one, LOL.

Oh, I’m sure there are plenty of dickless men at Starbucks… and I’m not a fan… but Starbucks does have its uses, even if they are few. Also went to Paneras on first dates. A bunch of inexpensive first dates that let to a fair amount of pussy.

If you look just right (and are a woman of course) you could probably sit there all day and not order a thing.

I think that everyone in that situation over-reacted, and it was within the rights of management to kick them off of the property, but I do have to wonder about selective enforcement against loitering.

When I see this story the only thing I see is some entitled c~~~ trying to make a couple men leave because she could. I don’t see this as a race issue but a sex one. If they were two black women nobody would have said s~~~. Starbucks was in the wrong and everyone who is claiming this is a race issue is just moronic.

Ironically enough my first job was at Starbucks, and people used to come in all the time with their laptops and sit there all day and not buy s~~~. And as long as they weren’t causing a disturbance nobody cared.

Also I have never been in a Starbucks where you had to have a key to use the restroom. Must just be a big city thing.

Of course without a video of the actual event unfolding who knows how rude those two guys even were. I know from personnel experience, its the Women who is usually the rude one and i bet its the same story here.

You want to make me angry? I will take a bite out of that anger and shit out success.
