I was mostly interested in Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren character (mostly because I love the Dark Side and Sith as characters), but he hardly gets a word in compared to the chick who’s playing the female Stormtrooper.  Not only that, but she audibly gets far more applause than Driver does. Something about that just upsets me.  That, and of course the chick has to have her hair cut like a dude, and she has to be the tallest of the group (she HAS to be wearing heels), and she HAS to bring up being the “first female Stormtrooper and it’s not about her looks” or whatever.

See for yourself and get annoyed.  Hopefully her character is taken out in Ep. 7.

At this point I wouldn’t put anything past them, especially since it’s all Disney now, and I ain’t going to pay money to see it.

Probably what’s flawed is the need to have female  warrior in Star Wars to appease feminists, that would be f~~~ed up and they probably did it for this reason but if the idea came out as pure credible character creativity then I would support that (because in this case she does fit a female warrior role)

As a female warrior character she is actually credible due to her size, she’s not one of those pretty chick warriors which are full of s~~~, let’s remember that her GOT character was created by George R.R. Martin and GOT is absolutely manly, do you even watch GOT bro? Her character is so well-written, her story is so believable: she’s a big ugly chick who couldn’t be raised as future marriage material for her dimensions, she was bullied and laughed at, became bitter and realized that because of her size she was manly and being a warrior suited her. And I think in George R.R. Martin’s world, he actually writes characters with the purpose of making things interesting instead of trying to appease feminists or some s~~~ like that.

Also I’m all about the actors, the fact that they’re casting this chick and Oscar Isaac is already confirming it will be great.

Let’s not take things to an extreme or we’ll end up looking like ridiculous feminists OK?

Will I watch the new movies? Yes, but I will not be buying theater tickets. I’ll wait for the disks, or whatever format home viewing will be in the future.

Manly? Can you name one heterosexual male character that didn’t get killed(most of them), get his penis chopped off(reek), a raving lunatic despot(geoffrey or that other guy), a midget (Tyrian), a Eunuch, or is a complete coward mangina(Sam)?

Manly? That was seriously sarcasm right? I sure hope so.  GRRM obviously  has a serious problem with a healthy male image. IT simple doesn’t exist in his world, but this isn’t any different than the rest of the entertainment industry.

Maybe we should GOOW and start producing “healthy male” TV and movies?
