I get anxiety every time I think about these “special” days like valentine’s day, birthdays, anniversaries etc…

Has anyone ever successfully told a girl you are NOT doing anything for them or buying them anything and avoided being crucified?

Actually one time, when I was working underground in the mines, one of my colleagues asked me if I would help <chick’s name> out right in front of her. I said out loud “F~~~ that!, while looking at her”. You see, one of my other colleagues, is a young dude, who helps thick chick out (taking out her trash from her home). This happened when we were all waiting for the the lift to take us back to the surface. We got into the lift and she said to me “You are a real gentleman <my name>” I kept quiet and didn’t react to her sarcasm.

Yea.
And while i was at it, i told her that any other “gift” and “religion” day did not exist for me at all.
And to not ever complain if i skipped them.

I get highly annoyed when women pay attention to “gift” days and give me Stuff.
It is a passive aggressive move in my mind.
