You’re lucky to have escaped from there. 90% of that neighborhood(Beacon Hill) is now ashes, burned concrete and twisted metal.

One of my friends lived in Fort McMurray. He went in mid 2014 and returned to Ontario in early 2016 due to declining prospects there. He’s real lucky he came back home when he did.
