I have initiated, and also participated in, several forum threads regarding communication and the benefits for MGTOW.com members who communicate in a live format. The points discussed were validated this week during phone calls and emails I had with members, a large number of the MGTOW.com forum posts this week, as well as the time I spent on the Zoom Video Session tonight.
    Three examples are:

Being able to listen to May 7 explain how he decided upon his site name, the growth and recovery he has made since his family life fell apart and his willingness to speak about the past and future pain he carries made me so appreciative of my current life. He is truly a man of courage and compassion who I feel honored to speak with on a weekly basis. He reached each of the eight members also on the Zoom Video Session in significant ways, yet ended the discussion in a manner that did not have anyone overly distraught.

Being able to speak to several members via telephone this week allowed me to relax and unwind after a very hectic work week. These members accepted my phone call and never indicated that the conversation needed to end, nor did they try to hijack the conversation to speak exclusively about what they wanted to discuss. This break from the realities of my day to day routine helped me regain some introverted perspective and distance on life.

Being able to send email with members and read/compose lengthy commentary that was current with the news items of the week. This type of discussion is not available in my current work environment, nor easily accomplished once I return home each night.

Given the drama over the past few days on forum where many posts continue discussing the same old tired thread that has currently consumed 24 pages in one post, it makes me appreciate the friends I have made on MGTOW.com and the courtesy they give me outside of the forums. I encourage all other active members of MGTOW.com to make the effort to reach out to other members and go beyond the forum to communicate with them.

There are times when the opportunities for engagement via the forum are counter productive but speaking with a MGTOW.com members is worth the effort.

    Well said!

Joining on zoom was a great experience. I would enjoy that again.

Too bad I missed it this weekend, as I am at a prior planned event.

The website is a great tool, allowing one to vent and gain knowlegeable resources.

One on one contact is taking that step one giant leap forward.

Don't chase tail. Turn yours around, walk away, and live free!

    yes.
    sometimes the forums are lacking,
because the men are talking in person.
    .
    pro’s and con’s to everything.
    this is no exception.
a nice balance is the key.
    .
both have value and deserve the time spent.
    win/win.

    .

    WINNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I often describe Webconference sessions as being an old English Country Club.

You go there for comfort and while there seek companionship and conversation if you like.

Phone calls are much the same but without the variety of guests.

Check Hitman, the MGTOW Food pyramid for communication, a little of this and a little of that in proper proportion keeps you happy, but at times you need a little something different.
