Sometimes a Forum post is not enough

Last week I posted a thread about the MGTOW forums and the communication they allow members.
“Why is the MGTOW Forums are so important”

I mentioned that communication can improve ones “overall quality of life”. In recent telephone conversations with MGTOW members, I recognized again that the exchange of information, ideas and beliefs is vital for Men to continue to develop.

Posting ideas or questions as a forum thread is important, but following up with a telephone/video conference conversation provides direct contact. Without a real connection someone can feel disconnected even while sending forum threads. A phone call is immediate and even if not answered, it indicates that the effort was made to contact that person.

You rarely know whom or how many people read your thread.

Many of us MGTOW are just biding our time. We see the writing on the wall. The gynocentrist status quo is collapsing. We MGTOW are patiently waiting for an opportunity to better our situations. Maybe that opportunity will come, maybe not. But, it is certainly entertaining to watch everything the c~~~s and manginas work for, by screwing us over, collapse around them.

I appreciate the zoomchats and getting to meet with other members in person not only gives me the opportunity to see different parts of our vast country, it also gives me the opportunity to connect with other members on a personal level. This in itself is empowering.

Indirect communication does not allow us to truly know what a person is trying to say. We mean more than we say and this is expressed by our body language, inflection of voice, speech patterns, etc. Face-to-face remains the preferred communication style by many because it allows one to say what they think.

Speaking with other Men can be very empowering, especially if one is overcoming an obstacle or personal crisis. Validation by peers or those perceived as mentors gives one a sense of approval.

I agree. I have only been on the zoom once, but it was nice to connect with other MGTOW. I also belong to a MGTOW friendly discord group that also provides additional interaction. Some of these interactions have spawned great friendships and now we do things outside discord/forums.

Very cool and I am sure that you leave each meeting feeling better than you started. I have read several threads where members mention routine meetings with MGTOW members within their local city. Social interaction.

Zoom is really good for getting clearer and more comprehensive information.
