I feel it too. Asleep I was as happy as could be expected. Nice older house, wife that I still considered cute and three kids, and a good income. The bed shook and roused me because the house and family were in a different state because she was tired of moving and I saw them two days every two weeks.

When I proudly announced my news it resulted in a sex and conversation embargo for five months. The longest that I had gone without while being in the same country.

I think it’s better to be stupid and delusional. Stupid people are much happier than intelligent people, and ignorance is definitely bliss.

These blue pillers and feminists and the like babble their s~~~ because they genuinely believe in all of it, and they are ultimately happy. They are part of a herd and all think the same and act the same, and engage in their base instincts the way they want to.

Plato says in the Republic that corruption really only affects the better man, because the average person is stupid and won’t know the difference. A decayed society or not, they’d just go along with anything and feel the same way about it. It’s those beings that are greater than the norm that are most affected, because they know something is wrong and don’t like the deviations from nature and goodness.

I supposed when intelligence gains power and applies itself, that is the best existence of all. Plato wanted Philosopher Kings in place for that reason. Or perhaps it was Aristotle, one of the two or maybe both.

Western civilization is a decayed, mutated, festering rot. Sometimes it amuses me how desperate some people are to defend it and insist it’s better than everything else, because it’s all they’ve known. That’s why it’s important for men to be well read and learned, to understand that what they experience isn’t the only way of things.
