There will always be individuals and groups attempting to gain power unjustly by force. It is part of human nature. In schools, administration should enforce the existing rules against violence and harrassment.

But why has bullying been elevated to a national platform shared with Black Lives Matter and transgender rights? Are citizens really entitled to a bullying-free society, free from threats and disturbances from other people?

Being exposed to threatening behavior as a kid, while difficult in the moment, is a great way to learn how to deal with it, assert your own boundaries, and fight back when neccessary. If a population lacks the skills of knowing how to fight back without running to their mothers, the government is in a stronger position of abusive force against its citizens.

I spent years at the very bottom of the social ladder and on the receiving end of violence from my peers, in a rough city. I still have the physical marks from some of these encounters. It was no picnic. But you grow up and hopefully move on.

Does anyone else think the anti-bullying campaign feels like another agenda to create an artificial, fantasy, politically correct, Starbucks-infused alter-reality? Is the movement fueled by mothers crying about their own childhoods, still wanting revenge on the mean girls who made fun of them in school, and projecting it onto their own children? Is an increased demand on administrations to keep our kids from experiencing hardships warranted?

I think these anti-bully campaigns are used by professional victims to bully people into adopting their ideology.

These “anti-bullying” campaign people are bigger control freaks & bullies themselves – of the worst kind. No mistake about that.

If they are so concerned about “bullying” then why don’t they shine a light on a man who gets “bullied” into paying child support for a kid that’s not even HIS???

That’s not just about his hurt “feelings”.
    These “anti-bullying” campaigns don’t give a S~~~.

If they are so interested in stopping bulling to protect delicate sensibilities….. before these virtue signaling assholes say anything about “cyber-bullying” or pretending that “bullying on facebook” is a problem, they can do something about THAT ^^.

Like everyone else here, I was bullied as a child.
One day, I had a ‘no more’ day.

I punched the bully in the face. The bully proceeded to kick my ass. I ate my ass-kicking and went home.
When I returned to school the bully had moved on to easier targets.

I repeated this scenario a few times before people left me alone.

Exactly. Even if you got a beating the bully won’t risk taking things too far again it’s really no different than how predators operate in the wild. I too was bullied at school until I also stood up for myself and got into a fight and I was never f~~~ed with again and it’s also the main reason why I started working out.

I agree with you Stealth, another group pushing an agenda, they’ll do what is necessary to accomplish whatever goal they have in mind.

One thing I have never understood about the younger generation…..they’re all on some form of social media. They weren’t forced into making an account, they did it on their own. Also, Tower posted a video of a boy who committed suicide because he was bullied. The bullies apparently had the kid’s phone number.

I agree with fighting back against bullies, it’s the only way to stop them. I was also bullied in school. However, do these kids’ parent’s not realize that their kids can get off social media, and change their phone numbers? Not saying it’ll stop the bullying, but at least the kids wouldn’t have to deal with it after school.
