Well gents, it has been about a month since I got rid of all of my accounts. Even the ones that I forgot the login to. I know I am late on this. But I mostly had them for fishing and out door feeds. Any way, you would be surprised how many people asked what is wrong with me for deleting them. Was I ok, or was I mad at them? Basically I am at the point of not giving a s~~~ about what goes on. Just want to fade away and go unnoticed. It is way to risky and don’t need anyone knowing what I am doing. Ghosting is the only way.

I gave up on Facebook a decade ago. I didn’t like people at work trying to friend me and also heard the comments in the room about people who post too much and how it was seen as annoying! It just seems like a huge joke to me.

Social Medias are really good at one thing! messing with one’s life! people remain people no matter what! give them the flexibility and instant gratification of the Social Medias and you just multiplied your chances to ruin your chances to ever have a peaceful and productive environment.

“Social Media” is just another form of forced familiarity, and about as useful IMHO.
Both actually create more cliques and divisiveness despite the claim that they “promote” inclusiveness and sociability.
All you do is put your “s~~~” out there so everyone and anyone can criticize, critique, and condemn you for their own pleasure.

I am surprised. Most of the “friends” on Facebook and s~~~ are there just to show off to you and their other “friends.” They couldn’t care less about you or anyone else. They use social media as a way to show off, and that’s all. It sounds to me like you have some REAL friends. It might not have been a good idea to cut them off like that.

Good move. I am never going on face book. All this meaningless social networking is a female thing, its the hive mind. You lose thinking time in relaying mindless information.

I had a twitter account still for general s~~~ posting, but I got bored with that. The few people I knew outside of Facebook and Twitter didn’t miss my not being there, and I have way more time without them.

Facebook is for women to post their drama and phish for attention by being vague about every situation they’re in; and also so they can keep tabs on those old Chads from high school. Helps them wonder what life would have looked like if they hooked up with Chad instead of their balding, beta mangina. Also having a fresh orbiter group of men to pay them compliments doesn’t hurt. In the end, facebook is just a means for which women can measure themselves against other women… And keep tabs on men.
