China has more at risk them the US. South Korea already stepped up to the plate and worked out a deal. Most everything China produces and is already or can be produced in SK. The US being the golden goose so to speak. Trade war will not last long I would not be shocked if behind the smoke screen China is not already in talks looking to make a deal.

This is not so much a case of “winning” as stopping the bleeding of wealth out of the U.S.

Is it “winning” to be in the ICU and stabilized instead of bleeding out? Either way you are at the edge of death, the only difference is potentially being hours from death instead of minutes from death.

We’ve never won a trade war with China, so how would we know. The media is pushing this trade war narrative because they hate Trump. It’s NOT a foregone conclusion that there will be one. I doubt there will be a trade war with China.

We are not in a trade war with China, that war was lost many years ago by the foolish, or incompetent, people who represented the U.S. Now we have a Trade Deficit of $500 Billion a year, with Intellectual Property Theft of another $300 Billion. We cannot let this continue!

Good question. Quick, pick up the nearest crapping product next to you. If it’s just as likely to say ‘Made in the USA’ as it is to say ‘Made in China’, then we’ve won.

Although not really. it’s probably not that great of a sign if we’re making junk like that. Perhaps it’s that we have equal trade or a trade surplus with them.

Even a little trade deficit isn’t a big deal though as long as American businesses can compete under the same terms as Chinese businesses in China. But again, taxes, tariffs, regulations, and other costs of doing business are all factors, and three of those factors are not dependent on China.

China will lose the trade war for sure.

The Chinese are scared of the products produced by the Chinese. Fake eggs, fake soy sauce, fake rice, poisonous baby formula, hormone boosted meat. All of them are harmful. The Chinese (especially the wealthy one) do not buy domestic food. They only buy imported one.

I found it funny that the Chinese government imposing tariffs on US food product. No matter how much costlier, the Chinese would still buy them from US.
