I have read tons on the forums here, been kinda preparing for the moment she was going to do this for a while. Instead of her just apologizing and showing a little respect for me she moves on to another guy. F~~~ it. There’s tons of details I’m leaving out…9 years worth…but what’s it really matter? My ex treated me like s~~~ during our divorce. At one time I said “You treat me with no respect.” She looked coldly right back at me and said, “You’re not a good husband and not a good father. It’s hard to respect you.” Two weeks earlier at the birthday party of a friends kid she had been telling people what a great dad I was.

Anyway. Talked with my personal trainer today. We talk a lot about this kind of stuff. He told me his son’s mother’s first husband was coming to get his (my trainer’s) son and his own son. They get along alright and help each other out with watching their boys. I asked how that works out. He said the guy never had a problem with him. He recognized it was the woman’s responsibility. My trainer said what the guy said he realized hurt the most was how quickly and easily he could be replaced. And I said that is exactly right. I had to grapple with that too. That’s the real painful part. That we are so easily replaceable and we really don’t matter. I’ve had a little luck with women but mostly stumbling through. I was never a really good looking guy and didn’t come from a lot of money. But I had friends who had everything going for them and they are still susceptible to being treated like this I’ve found. Even the alpha rich and good looking types. Ask Brad and Johnny. Anyway, told my trainer even a below average female can have a sex partner count way higher than even a rich good looking man because it is just that easy for them. He agreed and added plus men have to work harder to get attention and it takes us longer to recover from a relationship. Women don’t give a s~~~ they just keep right on going.
