So, I now have a YouTube channel up "The Sling of David"

So much for me saying I wouldn’t be on here as much or posting. Well, it may be more true. Different reasons. As of now, I am going to do a YouTube channel off and on, that can be see as an intersection of MGTOW and Christianity. I am calling it “The Sling of David”, connected with story of David rejecting the armor Saul wanted to give him in the Old Testament, and deciding to battle the giant his own way, because it worked.

It will be my own opinions, so you decide for yourself how much it reflects MGTOW or Christianity. Shred what you disagree with, and do things your own way. My channel won’t be for everyone. I do see to be positive though, when I can help it.

Lots of Christians are MGTOW. St. Paul encourages men to be celibate and only to marry if they’re “on fire” – in heat, essentially (to paraphrase). All the priests, bishops, etc. of the Catholic church are celibate. They certainly don’t define themselves by women. St. Paul was a MGTOW.

Christianity involves rejecting material goods and serving the lord. There are many who are “Christians” but very few disciples of Christ, as in, people that follow the teachings of Christ. Christianity is not MGTOW, to be a disciple you must follow the lord.

1 Timothy 2: 9-15 (NASB) says:

Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint.

Like I said, St. Paul was a MGTOW or at the very least a red pill guy.

Many Christian pastors actually worship the devil and not know it. For example they are ok celebrating Christmas which a pagan holiday. All these so called Christian holidays are actually pagan holiday. You can not be saved if you celebrate these holidays. You’re better off just studying the bible on your own.

Praying to a higher power to show you the way is the opposite of going your own way. Sure, many things in the bible resonate with the MGTOW message, like finding a virtuous woman to be difficult, or the recommendation by Paul to not marry. MGTOW has the freedom to be able to use wisdom from the bible, but a Christian does not have the freedom of MGTOW.

Who made that rule up? Christmas isn’t a ‘pagan holiday.’ It’s timed to stomp out old pagan religions by being set close to the winter solstice. Some customs were adopted and made Christian. (kinda like how we appropriated Native American culture for sports teams).

If that’s the case then that is just a guideline that you have to learn to interpret so you are still technically “going your own way,” it’s just another set of guidelines you would be following.
