Oh, how I fell from where I was in 2004, working in the IT industry for IBM, and then getting downsized out.

I had been on my last legs with money from unemployment, trying fruitlessly to get a business started, as per a program in NY state I was on.  I couldn’t get the business model worked out.  Anyhow, I am now at least looking at part-time retail work, for several months (it is temp) so at least it is something.  I would be up for more here, but I need at least to try to get something in and try to have some money aside to be able to do a relocation.

Things went downhill for me since 2004 actually.  And the flatlining of job creation started around 2001.  It just isn’t the same, and it doesn’t matter of Democrats or Republicans are in there, the trends of globalization are there.  It is increasingly either go big or go poor.

Right there with you sir. The year was 2010, I was one of 8 Network Administrator’s for THE BANK OF AMERICA! I even made it after the f~~~ing crash. Picking up all the country wide debacle s~~~, and in the middle of all that s~~~, I was part of the team that built an over 1/4 mile long data hall in Chandler, AZ. I was making over 100k for the first time in my life with OT of course 🙂 🙂 🙂 TONS AND TONS AND TONS OF OT! Then Nov 2009 We are sourced over to HP, yes that is hewlett piece of s~~~ i hate you forever packard. Then they cut OT within the first three months of the Network Admin Takeover, Then in Oct 2010, HP Laid off 30,000 world wide. Yes that number is right you can look it up, in the end boys, 87,000 got cut from HP. After years of struggling, taking $8 hr at&t hell support calls, lifting chemicals for my at the time fiance’s brother in law. He was making millions in a pool business back east, and to help me out he would LET ME DRIVE HIS CHEMICALS TRUCKS AROUND AND DELIVER 80,000 to 120,000 pounds of chemicals a day for the brother in law help you get on your feet pay of $9 Hr. FUIODG SHUIG FUKH IOPEFHP. Sorry , that pos bastard still gets under my skin like a tick in the deep Appalachian woods. Then my auto immune disease kicked into full mode, 5 pinched nerves, 5 completely destroyed disk’s, all the cartel edge in every major joint in my body is gone, and there is severe damage to my hips, shoulders, knees, and my sacroiliac joint. And the AS I have has me hunching over further and further every day, and yet, my x-wife gets 50% of my disability check, so I cannot even afford to go to a dr. I feel your pain sir, I truly do!
