So he wants to tax Mexican imports 20%. He also wants to lower our corporate taxes 20%. Well…what kind of impact is this going to have big picture? If a company wants to sell things in America is suddenly got 20% cheaper to make them here and 20% more expensive to make them in Mexico and sell them here. Trump just tipped the scales in favor of American manufacturing vs exporting production to Mexico by 40% in favor of America.
Also…in benefits that will be realized over time as jobs come back to America…right now we have a 35% corporate tax rate…but when a company moves production to Mexico and imports their products they pay a 0% corporate tax rate. Basic math here…would you rather have 35% of 0, or 15% of X, where X is any number greater than 0? In addition our biggest imports from Mexico right now are cars/car parts, computer parts, and oil. These are all things that can be produced and actually provide decent paying jobs…companies have just exported these jobs because why not? They get to pay lower taxes and import products for free…I can’t blame them for it. I’m sure we have millions of unemployed/underemployed out there who would love to get these types of jobs where they can make a far better wage than working a retail job with no college degree required.
The best part is liberals are going f~~~ing bonkers over his plan. I’ve listened to liberals my entire life accuse ‘greedy republicons’ of exporting our jobs to line their pockets while liberals have been backing free trade agreements and pushing for higher corporate taxes here…the very things chasing/pushing jobs out of our country. Trump is doing something to bring jobs back home…and they still cry. What would they propose we do to bring jobs back home? All they seem to want to do is raise taxes more, regulate everything more, and let everyone get “free” liberal arts degrees.
The best part is going to be when his policies become official and have a bit of time to start working and every time a major company announces expansion of operations here in the states rather than abroad…Trump is going to be tweeting up a storm rubbing it in the faces of all the liberals who are going to keep trying to spin it like the creation of solid middle class jobs is a bad thing. It will be hilarious after listening to them brag for 8 years about Obama’s jobs numbers…even though the majority of them have been crap part time low wage jobs.
EVERY DAY HE’S sending the LIBTARDS in a perpetual tail spin !!
That in itself was worth voting for HIM !!

The agenda has been broken. I do not want to say the new world order is being destroyed…. yet, but the world is awaking to many things that have been buried in a smoke screen of political correctness. It is a time of new perspective, of awareness and the need for a change. Let us not miss this opportunity for true change, it may be one of our last as a free world.
skip the cavernous vag and go your own way
I’m 100% on board with what you are saying here. I not sure how to best capitalize on the situation and take back what most men here in the U.S. have lost in the past 8 years.
Tequila is made in only one region of Mexico,
or it can’t be called “Tequila”.
.
will the price go up on Tequila?
yes, i’m seriously asking.
.
can someone in Texas or there abouts start a goddamn TEQUILA distillery PLEASE ??? !!!
call it Texquila or something ..
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.I feel like we are in the Twilight Zone. Only this is after the ending. And this was a happy ending.
The ending was on the night of November 8-9 2017, election night.
The Narrator: “Picture if you will. A crooked politician. A complicit press. An establishment so corrupt that their rot could no longer be hidden and an honest man was finally able to be elected. Only in the Twilight Zone.”
I feel like we are in the Twilight Zone. Only this is after the ending. And this was a happy ending.
It truly is. The liberal policies that have dominated politics for my entire adult life to date have just made my head hurt they have been so stupid and so bad for this country. Its like a dream come true watching them get torn apart. Its been like a broken record hearing people cry about stagnant wages and jobs leaving the country while they run out and vote for liberals who wanted more regulation and more taxes…I’m so glad the nightmare has ended for at least a few years.
I’m just hoping the successes of Trump’s policies will wake some of the brainwashed idiot liberals up, because I know right now that most of my generation leans liberal and I don’t like that one bit lol.
Six days down, one thousand four hundred fifty-five to go. Plenty of time for him to c~~~ it up.
Americans would be wise to keep their ever-active skepticism of politicians up.
EDIT: He’s proposing a tariff on Mexican imports. Curious to see what that will do the price of oil considering Mexico is one of America’s biggest oil suppliers . . .
". . . elle, suivant l’usage des femmes et des chats qui ne viennent pas quand on les appelle et qui viennent quand on ne les appelle pas, s’arrêta devant moi et m’adressa la parole"—Prosper Mérimée
It doesn’t matter what Trump does, the progressive left and mainstream media will hate it. Oh, they’ll take the lower taxes, they’ll apply for the jobs, they’ll buy the American made products and they’ll enjoy the freedoms and safety he provides… but they’d s~~~ in their own hands and smear it on their own faces if they thought they could make it look like it was Trump’s fault.
If you’ve read his book _The Art of the Deal_ you’ll know that Trump throws out an idea to garner attention but always has two or three more ideas waiting to follow it, should the need arise. The 20% tariff thing has everyone s~~~ting their knickers but if it doesn’t work, there’s two or three other ways to get the job done. Regardless, he’ll get the wall and Mexico will end up paying for it one way or another… even if “pay for it” means their economy is crushed for not playing ball.
This is a man who bought a $35M estate in Palm Beach for $5M because everyone else who made a bid was full of s~~~. He offered half the asking price and they said no, then every time someone else’s “better deal” fell through, he’d make another, lower offer and eventually they got so tired of dealing with losers, they sold it to him for a fraction of the true value. Same thing will happen to Mexico. Pay $x now or pay $10x later. Your choice.
The most beautiful thing about the Trump administration so far, though, is that Trump has H. Clinton pinned down. Just like the classic chess play where your opponent will expose a major piece to threat if they move a minor one, Trump doesn’t have to do anything but wait. If anything with the name Clinton on it so much as sneezes for the next four years to eight years, he’ll bring charges and annihilate them, but so long as they behave, he gets to look magnanimous.
I really am starting to think the man is a genius who has the entire left completely flummoxed and will keep them there for the duration.

Nothing. They account for about 6.5% of our oil imports, and 100% of our consumption isn’t imports…so they really are a small amount of our oil supply right now. We’ll either just extract more of our own or buy more from someone else.
You gotta remember our last president did everything he could to block domestic oil and gas companies. Trump is very pro domestic oil and gas. If Trump has his way domestic production is going to increase and not only will we not need Mexican imports, but we’ll be importing a lot less oil in general.
but they’d s~~~ in their own hands and smear it on their own faces if they thought they could make it look like it was Trump’s fault.
And then they’d accuse each other of being racist for wearing blackface. Liberals…they are mentally ill.
i’m telling you guys..
if Tequila prices go up,
I will be very VERY upset !
.
take my idea and start a distillery ..
Texquila is a great idea.
if i don’t see it in….1 year,
i just might do it myself. An the thought of no grand kids from sons who do not want to f~~~… they know the evil s~~~ feminism has been doing.
I love throwing this in my moms face when she occasionally whines about wanting grand kids…I just remind her how she has been threatening my dad with divorce for the last 10 years and I plan on being comfortably retired before I’m 50, not spending my 50s wondering if the c~~~s going to take half and walk away. I’m pretty sure nothing can sting worse for a woman who wants grand kids than her son saying “Thanks mom, watching how you have treated dad over the years has set a great example for why I should never get married or let a woman own me via children!”
Its also good occasion to tell women none of the girls my age can cook, they suck at cleaning, and they all seem to be buried in student debt so what good are they? Obviously we know the only other use for them is sex…but most women won’t admit that. Its like a kick to the c~~~ of a woman who raised a feminist/girl power daughter to hear a guy that is a good catch isn’t interested in women who lack traditional values lol. Just like its a slap in the face to tell me mom she set a great example for me to never marry…its like a slap in the face of women with a daughter to indirectly let them know the chance of her daughter finding a good husband is minimal because of the way mommy raised her lol.

Anonymous18When someone like Obama who was groomed to become POTUS from relative obscurity, it is hard to believe the same powers would relinquish their stronghold.
When Trump was mocked for being a birther, the same people voted for him to be next POTUS.
We are easily swayed with emotions.
For all pragmatic purposes the powers that be should increase their influence after 8 years.
Trump’s son-in-law could very potentially be his handler. And Trump’s allegedly incestous relationship with his daughter is all the rulers need to keep him in check.

How his effective execution of policy that makes him a hero will be used in the great plan remains to be seen.
I am not a proponent of this belief but there is far too much in the hands unseen.
Also I feel the mainstream media attacks on him came about only after alt-media took hold circa 2012ish.
All so to establish him as the anti-NWO.
Our rulers are ahead of the curve. Far ahead.
Curious to see what that will do the price of oil
Always those people complaining about gas prices… they run to the pump and fill up when it’s cheap, but they don’t jump all over the price per barrel.
2 weeks before my father died, my parents complained about the “price of gas” in the car for 2 hours and I was about to lose my mind. “Wait! Don’t fill up now! Maybe it will be cheaper at the next gas station!!”. The bickering made me swear I would never get in the car with both of them again. (true!)
Turns out I was right. 2 weeks later he was dead.
Probably from all the nagging about “gas prices”.$52.75 right now as of Jan 25 2017 for a barrel of oil.
That would never have been believed in recent years. “NO F~~~ING WAY will we ever see oil below $100” they said. Then it went to $35. Even $80 was a gift at the time. So if you’re TRULY concerned about how gas and oil prices will skyrocket because of Trump, now’s your chance to get rich off of that….. before it goes to $300 like they predicted in 2011. Then you won’t give a f~~~ about the “price of gas” at the pump and you’ll be kissing Trump’s feet with thanks.
I never understand why people complain about a 50 cent increase in the price of gas at the pump…. but when oil is dirt cheap, they refuse to touch it.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.i invested a bit in US dollars, and i live in Canada. Hopefully it works out. Go Trump!
Trump = low taxes, less regulations.
Meanwhile, Canada is led by Trudeau and we’ve got a housing bubble.
@keymaster is there a housing bubble in the city you live? is it Toronto?
MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.
great thread @beer
MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.
Trump shows how career politicians are massive con artists, only there to get rich and benefit their buddies
he has come in and is actually DOING what he said he was going to do and for the benefit of ordinary people! It is unbelievable to see this happening
Economic growth has been anemic, especially since the Great Recession, so I hardly blame one party for s~~~ty growth.
Lowering corporate income tax WILL surge growth, but don’t expect the Republicans to have the guts to actually cut spending in lockstep with taxes. There have been temporary, token cuts, which I applaud — like EPA grants and contracts. But if they cut taxes without spending cuts — and I don’t mean discretionary — sure we should eliminate funding to entities such as the National Endowment for the Arts — but doing so won’t balance the budget. Entitlements and military outlays would need to be reduced.
The problem with high import tariffs is they spur your competitors to do the same. This spawns a trade war. domestic companies that rely heavily upon export markets then go bust.
The problem I have with foreign trade is the large trade DEFICITS over long periods of time. Because we use fiat currency, these deficits can exist. Such imbalances cannot persist if you don’t have fiat currency.
Awakened: Yes, seeing progressives go apoplectic is highly entertaining!
Many agreements aren’t fair and are crafted by special interest groups. Having bilateral, rather than multilateral trade agreements, might give the US a better deal. So there is certainly logic to some of what Trump proposes.
I don’t get too excited personally about gas prices, the cost of a fill-up is insignificant, but high oil prices definitely hurt the overall economy other than oil&gas. It was refreshing to see Trump re-open the Dakota Access and Keystone pipelines for consideration. obamination cynically held off Keystone decision until safely re-elected.
