I’m going to go for the easy, Liberal-Knocking-Out blow here.

Hitler wrote this book called Mein Kampf (‘My Struggle’) in 1925. In it, he’s pretty clearly racist, sexist, antisemitic, and makes it clear that he expects to use violence to push Slavs out of Central and Eastern Europe if he ever takes power.

This theme was one of the strongest in this book. From the beginning, the Nazi Party took cues from various antisemitic politicians in Austria, Prussia, and Germany, largely mirroring their language.

Other than normal language and behavior, I’ve never been aware of anything Trump has anything said that is racist or antisemitic. He has a Jewish grandchild. He’s been sued dozens if not hundreds of times, and I’m not aware of any suit – or even accusation – that he’s ever been racist, ever. My sense is there would have been had he behaved in that fashion. It’s too easy a way to sue someone nowadays.

It cheapens the Holocaust, WWII – the Great Patriotic Struggle to compare whatever one doesn’t agree with to Hitler.
