I have noticed in the last 30 years things have changed. Not just females. All sorts of little things.

My doctors went from being caring, go the distance to assembly line workers. Patients in and out as fast as possible.

Police, Fire, and EMS went from Hero’s to shift workers. Miller time, don’t care anymore.

My local banker was a trusted adviser, now he skims as much as possible.

My financial adviser, I do the opposite of what he says.

Lawyers went from fighting for what was right to Divorce Corp.

Your wife isn’t even to be trusted anymore.

Everyone is out for number one. No one wants to help anyone anymore, whats in it for me.

The Church/ Clergy stay the f~~~ away from my kids.

No one cares anymore. I know AWALT, no f~~~s given, not our job to make the world a better place.

It seems that stress is off the chain. The economy will collapse at anytime. Greed, keeping up with the Jones’s, consume more, inflation.

It used to be we were all in this life together, now every man for himself. It can’t just be feminism. I know, things change but….

Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? Anyone have any thought?

How do you know they ever cared? Maybe they were just better actors back then.

That’s because banks lend money they don’t have. The sooner it crashes the better.

A mans hand shake means nothing.

Why should it mean anything? You’re going to give me a better deal on something just because I gave you a handshake?

I don’t think it’s a bed of roses for many doctors. Many are unhappy with this arrangement. In addition, they have to deal with a mountain of paperwork in order to get paid by insurance companies, the DEA is always watching them so they have to be careful with prescriptions, they always have to cover their butt in case of a lawsuit, and malpractice insurance can be over 100k per year depending on specialty. There are so many rules and regulations that it becomes ever more difficult to follow them, and an assembly line is a resulting symptom.

In general, western civilization is in decay. Look around, this is what collapse looks like. We are decaying socially, militarily, economically, and intellectually. Our social structure is disintegrating, and the takers are elevated to a status above the achievers. Sense of community and higher purpose is sacrificed. It’s everyone for themselves.

We’ve fallen a long way, but I think we have a long way to go before we reach the bottom.

Just my inflation devalued two cents.

    Orlando,

I don’t disagree with anything you said. My point is that it wasn’t like that 30 years ago.

In addition, it is not all doctors, cops, lawyers, etc. But in my opinion, the number of good ones is going down every year.

Declinism is a cognitive bias that makes people see the past favourably, but the present and the future not too much in comparison. Could be an explanation, at least partially.

English is not my native language. Sorry for the mistakes.

Do you realize you don’t have to do business with a bank. The best thing i ever did was change to a credit union. I pay practically pay no fees and on top of that the interest rate I get from my saving accounts is higher than a bank’s GIC rate.

Don’t depend on your doctor as much. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables if you can afford it. Get moderate exercise, healthy life style and try fasting once a week for 24 hours. All these things can improve your health.

We live in a corporate world now that is all about greed and selfishness. people don’t take up jobs that suit their character, they take jobs that suit their finances. I’ve noticed that in the NHS in the UK in a big way, over the last 35 years. Doctors and Nurses just don’t give a s~~~ about the patients.

Women are so bad, if they changed the law so I kept the house, I still wouldn't marry one. I'd rather be homeless.

Jan, I have noticed all this as well. Considering we men are both blamed for this and we are victims of this. There is no way for us to fix this mess.

So instead, I focus on become more spiritually purer. I do not mean going to church. I mean become a better person. Let go of negative emotions and attachments and avoid negative influences.

It’s called entropy. It’s a fundamental process to the universe. When you cripple men there’s nobody to fight it. We’re seeing the result.

Large government and bad money does that.

This is also part of growing up.

Every generation thinks the ones that follow are corrupt and broken to some degree. Reactions to Miley Cyrus were no different than when Elvis first starting gyrating on stage. They remember a better time when prices were reasonable, politicians were noble, and children respected their elders.

    But nothing has changed.

A mans hand shake means nothing

That ^^^ is one thing I abhor.

About 5 years ago, I started working for/with a guy and he actually noticed my values, ethics, sense of propriety and commented on my “integrity” within 3 days of working there. I was quite impressed that he noticed and used the word in a sentence correctly.

Core values are seldom recognized (or rewarded) if ever anymore.

When he said “hello” every day, he showed me his fist – like a “bro punch”. I knew he wasn’t a straight shooter just by this gesture. I showed my open hand and told him a handshake is worth more. It evolved into an unspoken joke between us. He would always hold up his knuckles for a “bro punch” and I always held out my open hand.

He would cave and shake my hand, but something about it bothered him.
It was like he couldn’t do it, look me in the eye and mean it.
That’s why he bro-punches everyone. He wasn’t a man of his word.

So I eventually realized he was full of s~~~ – and he proved it – with wishy washy flaking and not keeping his word. Over time, I had lost all respect for him. Then I gave my notice. On the last day, he pretends like we’re still friendly, approaches me and doesn’t say anything because he knows I don’t think highly of him anymore.

He silently offered his hand for a shake which I thought was clever…. so I smiled…. and then I held up my fist for a “bro punch”.

It said everything. And we didn’t need to exchange a single word.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

The standards of society continue to lower as more people have more rights. That’s democracy for ya.

yes keymaster , the hand shake says a lot.
the “bro punch ” is relatively meaningless.
you have the ability to put into words the observations i make but have difficulty expressing.
    thanks brother-man !
your insight and creative ability are truly genius .
it’s like the itch in my brain gets scratched being here .
thanks for the time you spend de-bunking some of the fallicies we are all faced with.
this is MGTOW school for me , thanks keymaster !

I’m young and I agree with the OP. I’m growing up in this bizarro world. For me, it’s not a decline, it’s a nightmare.
