Something i see that has faded was the good old slot car sets. When i was a teen i had a massive 4 lane Scalextrics set boy that was fun with a group of mates . Our rules were if you came of the track in a 20 lap race you stayed of . You would win buy comming first or been the last car on the track . I seen in a hobby shop a couple of years ago the range of new cars and f~~~ i wish they were around when i was young . The muscle cars look awesome.
Another slot car set that didn’t stick around was the TCR sets where you could change lanes . Does anyone remember them.
Aurora Afx i think alot of us had . Wonder if there still sold.
I guess now with gaming race games the slot car tracks are becoming history.
THE PLANTATION HAS NOW TURNED INTO THE KILLING FIELDS . WOMAN ARE NOW ROLLING CAMBODIAN STYLE .

Anonymous54When I was a kid I woukd spray windex on the trac so it would be slippery, and you could hold the back end out on the corners!
Just checked Amazon and they have several. I had a standard figure 8—god it was fun!
Had a TCR kit when I was young, kinda worked, cars seemed to struggle to hold the curves but we did have fun with it. I kept one of the old slot cars I bought as one of my life long gone souvenirs, sits in my safe.
No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.
